This regulator is designed to regulate the pressure from a high-pressure CO2 storage tank and output low-pressure gas at 0-45PSI for carbonating water or beer. When I received the regulator. The high-side gauge was obviously damaged and didn't function. However, it regulates fine and I used it for several months to carbonate water. The low-side gauge works fine. In the pictures, you can see a little bit of tubing left on the output barb. I noticed this while taking the pictures, and will remove it before shipping. Also, it's hard to find this out if you're buying it new, but the output barb is 5/16" I had no trouble fitting 1/4" tubing over it once I dipped it boiling water for a minute, but it is a fairly tight fit.
