This is a well made dance floor that this consignor made himself because he wanted to have a floor he could practice tap dancing. There are two 4 by 8 sections to it and they are mounted on a metal frame for sturdiness. 3/4" plywood on the frame and 3/4 inch oak tongue and grove flooring on top of that. $500 in materials alone. This is a gently-used Parquet style wooden dance floor. It is portable and adjustable in size. It can be built as a 12' X 12' dance floor or a 12' X 9' floor. The floor comes as eight 3' X 6' panels. 8 pieces of border siding, and 12 cables for tightening the sides. I'm closing my boutique in Chicago and have to part with this spectacular piece. I don't know its provenance but I can picture it in Marshall Field's 60 years ago as a checkout counter. This listing is for the above shown restaurant/ cafeteria style trash bin enclosure. It holds a pretty large can. And has easy roll casters on the bottom. Each unit has a large trash"hole" on top for dumping, as welll as a small shelf above to accumulate empty small trays or baskets etc. The units have a soft blond wood look, but it appears to be a veneer. The hinges work well on each unit, nothing sticking when we tested them. Items are used, and show signs as such. They have a few scrapes and scuffs here and there, but are in overall good shape. FABIO. As we call him, is a lifesize hanging Pirate made of durable plastic. He is well made and extremely sturdy. His toes curl around the end of the rope which run through his hands. He is extremely lifelike, and likable. He makes friends easily, as you will see) We had him hanging around our Restaurant to draw a crowd. Which he did, very well I might add. We moved him around, to keep people guessing, Where's Fabio? We even got phone calls saying there was a man hanging outside, giving us the opportunity to invite them to the Restaurant. He is one of the hardest working employees you will ever have. Even though he appears to be just"hanging around. he will be on the job at any given time and ready to advertise your Restaurant, or whatever establishment you want. I decided to package these pins as I know they were used together in a candy store. I am just not sure what the exact purpose of each pin was. Both pins were used in a candy shop in the late 50’s or early 60’s. I did not attempt to clean the pins or polish. The Chase Red Brass pin has the factory Centaur Horse logo on the handle. The pin measures approximately 25 inches long(handle to handle) and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 21 pounds without shipping material. It does have areas of corrosion and the brass is tarnished. But I believe it should clean up well or left alone depending ... moreon the prospective buyers taste. The second cutting pin as I will call it has twelve cutting type wheels, spaced approximately ¾: inches apart. The overall length is approximately 23 inches long. I can not find any identification marks on this pin and it does have areas of corrosion. This pin weighs approximately 11 pounds without shipping material. I was debating on having them professionally cleaned, but at this time going to leave as is. Unique pins for a restaurant decoration or a collector. Remember you will be getting both pins.
