This 14" aluminum sandwich press works great! It may look dirty. But really, it's seasoned and ready to go. I could clean the plates off to look brand new, but that just adds to your time investment to get it going. It has gone through the heat/oil/cool/heat/oil/cool process many times, and is really well seasoned. A good wipe down with some fresh cooking oil and you're in business. I've cooked lots of sandwiches on this piece of equipment and I couldn't be happier with it.

The press works without issues. The plates are new. And it has newer elements. The press sells new for $1200. The plates are over $500 for the pair, and the element is $100 each. The plates have been polished to smooth up from the factory castings. There is an issue one hinge bearing holder is missing. The lid still moves. But the lid will stay at any angle that you put it at, so it can still be used without the lid falling down. You can put it however you want. There is NO drip containter. I have somehow lost it.
