The steamer does heat up and pumps but hot steaming water leaks out of top part I unscrewed the top and it looks lit is coming out of the round brass looking pump? right in the center it looks to me that there is a gasket that goes between two parts however I am in no way a tech so that is only my assumption I may be wrong but all in all it does leak and will need repaired so it is sold as is for parts or repair.
