It works perfectly it takes about 2min for it to get really hot and it isn’t at its max level. The person I got it from no longer wanted it, they got a new one & told me this waffle maker helped them get their business off the ground. It does have signs of wear, it is a little hard to turn the handle while it’s down & it needs a deep clean, I clean it personally, I still feel it could be cleaner unfortunately I don’t have a sand blaster or the tools to do so but it still looks and works good. This is a really nice Chefstack unit that was only used for one case of product. Contrary to what other sellers may tell you about this machine it is still supported with the current vendors just as the popcake units as they are nearly the same. Use the same belts and same product. If you are unsure about this feel free to contact the company and verify. Here is a rare Commercial rectangular Gold Medal Model 5027 Liege Waffle Maker. They are designed to make the famous Liege Pearl Sugar Waffles. You can also use these for other Belgium style waffles too. This was purchased used and we used it for 2 seasons at our store. It now needs a new home at your restaurant or ice cream store. It has been well used. It was just tested and got as hot as can be. I did a last minute cleaning and I scrubbed most of it down but NOTE it will not come new. Commercial single grid Belgian waffle iron/maker. This has two lights. One comes on when you turn it on and goes off when it is ready to put the batter in. The other light goes on when you turn the timer on and goes off when the time is up. This turns upside down, but you need to turn it right side up to take the waffle out. It makes a 7" waffle. This was made in St Louis in May of 1987. The cord has tape in one place, most likely it should be replaced. Did not clean the grid part for fear the batter would stick. Made by Koala Cones is NOT THE PRETTIEST commercial Ice Cream Cone Maker that you will find and it NEEDS A HANDLE, but it WORKS VERY WELL. I tested each temperature setting and when the 9" baking surfaces reached it's assigned temperature, the red light would go off. Then I would raise the temperature setting and the red light would go back on again. When the surfaces reached that level it would go off again. Over and over, through the 12 settings. The thermostat works just as it should. And the surfaces got hotter and hotter. So, it WORKS VERY WELL. When I bought it. It was pretty much covered with grease.
