I replaced the leaky filter 40mfd/450v capacitors and the output 2mfd/630v resin cap. The cabinet has been refinished as well.All the tubes checked very well on my IT-17 tube tester and weak or broken tubes replaced. I will included a complete copy of the manual which i used to calibrate the unit after cleaning the switches and replacing the capacitors. Here is a set of used but good 8-650pf 3-5kv vacuum caps I had bought when I was building my HF AMP and used one for a few weeks and decided to go another route. I bought the pair and now selling the pair. I had tested them with my capacitance meter. They are good. The shafts rotate with slight pressure in one direction which is a good thing. Up for sale is a 10.000 250v(300v surge) mfd aluminum electrolytic capacitor that was removed from a large UPS. The UPS was never installed because it was cannabalized for parts. It was plugged in for several months before removing parts were removed from it. This screw-top capacitor has been tested. Includes mounting bracket.

This is for a nice CD 500 mfd 475 VDC capacitor. The case looks new and there are no bulges or discolorations. Removed from equipment. Old but can possibly be reformed with care. Great energy storage- i.e. strobe cap. Diameter 1 3/4 in by 5 1/4 in long. It a big one. As with all vintage electronics. No guarantees possible. Untested. No returns. What you see is what you get. As a confidence test, I poked it with an ohmmeter and it behaved just as I would expect. No short and it took a charge from the meter. Looks good, you just have to go easy with it when you bring it up to full voltage. Sorry only one available- would make good filter cap for ham or audio power supply.

For sale are 4 used MEPCO/ CENTRALAB Capacitors THAT WILL FIT AN ADCOM GFA-555 amp. I was into fixing amps a while back and I was using these to replace the caps in Adcom GFA-555s These caps are used and I cannot guarantee the life left in them. They might fit other Adcom amps. And other brands but I'm not sure. They have the same specs and are the same size as the original Adcom 555 caps. The can measures 3-1/4" tall and 2-1/2" across. For sale are 3 used ADCOM Capacitors from a GFA-555 amp. I had a 555 here in which one of the caps vented. I replaced all four in that amp. And here are the 3 used ones that were left. The can measures 3-1/4" tall and 2-1/2" across. These caps are used and I cannot guarantee the life left in them. Dated 1986- these are almost vintage! They might fit other Adcom amps. This is a compressor motor starting capacitor. Type CBB65A-1 rated 35uF- 270VAC 50/60hz 3.0/3.6 Amp. Dual pole. Capacitor has been tested and reads an actual 33.72 uF. These are commonly used in many dehumidifiers and small refrigerators. If you have an older compressor that is slow to start. You may want to increase the size from say 25uF to 35uF to see if you can get more mileage from a worn unit. Easy to install for a reasonably skilled handyman.
