I bought this in May of 2000 and have never used it. It has been stored in a dry warehouse since then. It has not been used, or installed since then. It was bought for a project that I never did get around to start or complete. This capacitor was bought used? back in 2000. This capacitor has been moved around and stored in various boxes since I have had it. So there is some marks on the bottom edge from this it is not dented, or heavily scratched up. It is not bulging at the ends and there is no leaking of the materials outside of either end of this capacitor. There is a very small ding on one side of the capacitor that is hardly noticeable. The plastic shrink wrap material around the outside of the case is in good shape with a few marks near the bottom edge. None of the material is cut or missing or has been removed in any way. This was taken out of a portable welder that suffered a"fried" circuit board. The pictures show all the specs. The"can" is 2-1/8" diameter x 3-3/16" long. The terminal lugs protrude 1/4" beyond the can and include the 1/4"28 x 5/8" long bolts and lock washers. Also included is a clamp ring with three mounting tabs with 3/16"W x 1/4"L slots. The band is 3/4" wide. The tabs stand the near edge of the ring 3/8" away from the mounting surface.

I'm selling two big Paper in Oil capacitors. Made in Japan, the brand is Nichicon(40uF/400V) + 5 pieces of 1uF/400V, the brand is Shizuki and two 0.2uF/400V, they are all paper in oil. All of them are japanese. These were taken from an old mass spectrometer. So they are very good quality. A few light paint marks/scratches on them. They were measured and are around 3% tolerance. I didn't try to measure them at high voltage but they perform good in series with a loudspeaker. I ship international with tracking number. Shipping price is $24.
