I had this ice cream truck custom built at a fabrication shop to my exact standards. It's built on a 1992 Safari Trek motorhome base so it has the bathroom. Sinks, fridge, plenty of high end real wood cabinets and even real wood flooring. Safari Trek is a high end coach that was around $85-$110k new. My goal was to find a high end coach with real solid components like real wood and quality appliances etc. then build a food truck off that so it looks really nice and is high quality. It worked. It has 2 soft serve machines, 2 fridges(1 that came with the motorhome, and one commercial) huge water tank(100 gallon I think) waste water tank(split black and gray water like any other RV) nice bathroom with plenty of mirrors and storage. Right now the vehicle is in Portland Oregon and it has been winterized since the end of summer. It will take me about 3-5 days to get it in a shop and unwinterized and all checked out before I can ship it. I am selling a 1983 Chevy Step Van food truck. I bought this truck in Winston-Salem. NC and drove it home to Nashville, TN where I had it painted. When I bought it, I had to change the oil and bleed the brakes, and it drove to Nashville without any problems whatsoever. The only known issue is that the fuse for the odometer/speedometer is out. The odo reads 200.000 miles, but this is obviously lower than what it actually is. Despite this. It has never given me any problem at all. I've only driven it locally since I purchased it so I haven't worried about getting the speedo/odo working. As the pictures show. It is in great condition, I am just no longer in need of the truck as my business of going in a different direction than with a food truck. The freezers. The only thing that needs to be repaired is the tong that drops the telescope for taking on and off the hitch of another vehicle. As far as a commercial application for selling products this is very useful! Lots of storage and room to move around. This was never intended to be used to prepare foods. As it is not plumbed for water and has no clear or gray water storage, its meant for dry goods, packaged goods, etc. The paint is new, and we added lots of extra electric fixtures, but no generator. This truck was a firehouse box truck that never got much use. We converted it last year and it runs great and only has 11.800 miles. There is a counter that fits onto the windows for service. There is also a 10,000 watt Generac XG electric start portable generator that attaches onto the truck in a large metal box. All the equipment runs off electric so you can plug in at a site or run off the generator. The water pump runs on a battery so if you are using electric or not you still have water.
