I am not at all familiar with testing it. But I did read through the instruction manual and attempt to test it. Here is what I did– I followed the instructions for initial filling of the machine using the overflow tube at the front. This is supposed to fill the water bath portion. I did not have any problems doing this and once I turned the compressor on, I could hear it power on and begin to cool the machine down. I have no way to test if it actually made ice in the water bath though. Also, I don’t have any juice containers to use in the machine and so was not able to see if it would actually dispense. Also, I attempted to RINSE the machine per the instructions. I connected a hot water line, switched the selector to Rinse, and pressed one of the buttons on the front, but nothing happened. That is the extent of the testing and so I would assume since I was not able to get the machine to rinse, that it needs some type of repair, or may be good just for parts. Hello for sale is a used but pulled from working environment Cornelius ED250-BCH fountain drink dispenser. The dispenser has 10 heads all which appear to work aside from the far right one which is missing the controller to test it. The front plate as well as the drip guard are included with the machine and are shown in the pictures.The sneeze guards on the sides of the front plate may need to be replaced since one has broken and pulled off. There is no top included since this unit was used with an overhead ice maker. Also included is the carbonator as well as everything seen in the pictures. The drink dispenser does need some work cleaning it up and is missing the plastic drink identifiers but is a great unit at the fraction of a price of a similar drink dispenser. Cracks or damage and the pumps work smoothly. The dispensers will need to be cleaned prior to use as they have spent years in storage. The top of the pumps show some light soiling on the"Vanilla" and"Chocolate" labels but they are still very readable. The stainless steel housing shows surface wear including scratches and scuff marks from previous use but there are no dents at all.
