This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are no significant scuff marks or scratches on the item. The stainless steel is in great condition but there is a small dent is in the inside of the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The item lid is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The function buttons and soda dispenser buttons are in good condition with no cracks or chips. We tested the ice dispenser button and the large ice stirring arm inside the item turned without any problems. However we did not test this item with any ice. From what we can tell the drip dispenser is missing some screws but this is easily repairable. This auction is for a vintage Fount Wip Pressure canister. It measures about 6.25" high and 3" across. I believe the item is made of stainless steel. The bottom is marked Fount Wip Inc Model D14. The side of the canister is inscribed Fount Wip. The canister comes with the cap and a hard rubber seal/gasket. I am not sure what this thing is supposed to do. Or if it works. This is an early 1930s celluloid menu from the Grill and Fountain. Run by Manuel A. Capsalis and George Vassileades. Located at 111 East Main Street. The Grill and Fountain was a Soda Fountain. Grill, and Ice Cream Restaurant, which catered mainly to Duke University students. It was a very popular meeting place for Duke students. Alumni and faculty, having some of the best food in town at reasonable prices. The 1934 Grill and Fountain ad from the Chanticleer. Duke University Yearbook, reads: Best food. Best drink.
