Nor is it a no-name generic with no warranty. The new item part number is 28093.1000(with list price of over $540 plus shipping) These geared-down auger motors are pretty sturdy. But they do fail. Early motor demise can be caused by failure of the auger shaft seal at the front of the cooling drum- product ... moreleaks around a failed seal through the auger shaft alley into the auger motor. The other often seen problem is failure of the gear box. Usually due to failure of the original lubricant within the gearbox. The internal motor shaft bearings can fail and seize the motor as can the gear bushings and/or bearings. We occasionally receive used motors as cores that are often run for long times after they start to make noise, and usually the transmission case and internal components are destroyed and they are not rebuildable and the core charge cannot be refunded. When your motor starts to make noises, it is time to replace it before it is too late to be rebuilt. We refurbish this motor and transmission by taking everything apart. This is a used vita-mix in-counter blender. I bought it second hand. It works very well as you can see in the pictures. It will turn ice into powder. There are a few scratches and a crack in the sound dampener next to the handle. This has no effect on the functionality of the dampener. The only buttons that work are#1 and#3. It was made to sit inside a small hole in a counter top for a smoothie shop/ bar or some other comertial business. You can still do this if you want. Made in Italy 2 bowl machine. Each side has independent controls can be chilled or frozen product even use for alcohol drinks like frozen daiquiris etc. No cracks or leaks and fewer parts with the magnetic transmission system. 12 amp machine. Hasn't seen a ton of use just time to clear some things out that we aren't using. This is a very nice machine. Comes with several graphics headers you can switch out on the lit up front part of the lid which lights up. This is a FACTORY PART- the black lighted lid that came with your Bunn Ultra-2 or Ultra-1 machine. Part number 32069.1001. It includes all components assembled to make a complete lid assembly(top lights, bulbs, cord and plug) DOES NOT come with sign inserts The lid sits on top of the hopper and plugs into the socket at the back of the mount to power the bulbs in the lid. This lid is designed to fit the regular full-sized three gallon Ultra hopper. It is not designed for the smaller two gallon hoppers found on the older PAF machines when the PAF mechanism is removed. It is the same width as the PAF hoppers but it is longer. And while some customers have used these lids on the PAF hoppers and let the excess length protrude off the back of the hopper we do not recommend this- we note this only ... morebecause some of our customers have done this when faced with the reality that there are no lids designed to fit the PAF hoppers when the PAF mechanism is removed.
