This is a double mixer and has two of everything. In 1994 one side had been overhauled and the other still contained its original parts. The original parts appear to be worn out(so. Model# 218R-12 I do not know the part number for the gear reduction unit. The body is cast aluminum. The pilot hole that mounts to the mixer is 3" inside diameter. 4 bolt pattern stud mount holes are 3-7/8" across on centers. The pulley shaft is 3/4" diameter and 1-7/8" long with a single 3/16" key. It is approx. 9-1/2" long overall and about 7-3/8" wide. The mounting feet that bolt to the frame are 3-1/4" apart on centers. The whole thing weighs about 12 pounds. The shaft and the socket move smoothly and do not make any unwanted noises. The aluminum body surface is a little crusty. I did not open it up to inspect the bearings and gears. My inspection is to the outside and how the assembly turns and feels by hand. The housing on this replacement part looks slightly different than the original. However. However, I cant find the foot switch that goes with the machine.there is an aftermarket speed control switch that will go with it. If you look on ebay, you can find that switch for around 100.00.
