Selling my ice plant. I have 2 vogt ice machine that I would like to sell at the same time. The one on the left is a P118 5 tons per day. The unit runs great. I have never had any problems with it. The unit has a full charge of freon. The compressor is only two years old. It has a little rust on the bottom of the frame but nothing serious at all, I just want to be up front. The machine on the right is an older vogt ice machine. It is a vogt 9000 which is now what they call the P118. It has been converted to R-22. This unit has a full charge of freon also. This machine does have two welded tubes, the tubes are sealed off perfectly. Other than the two tubes that gave me a problem that are now fixed, the machine works great. I have had no other issues with the machine, it makes ice everyday. ... moreThe compressor on that machine is only two years old also. Both machines are water cooled and run on 240v 3ph, and both are the mini tube. The machines are currently running. You can FaceTime me to watch the machine operate if you like. 7138750715. I will even throw in the cooling tower if you need it. The cooling tower does need a new fill, when I priced out the fill it was $1500. I just installed a new water pump on the tower this summer. For your bidding pleasure. I just picked up this Scotsman Ice machine and Bin. It appears to be functional. I bought it from a bar that had closed down and the owner said it worked when they closed. About 3 years ago and had been sitting the whole time. It is dirty. Model# of the icemaker is CME506RS-1F and the bin is BH8005-CIt does appear to have all the parts. It appears to be water cooled(see bottom pic) The bin has no cracks or holes. The gaskets could use changing( see pic) I plugged it in and the lights on the inside came on and it made mechanical refrigeration sounding noises and seemed to fire up fine. You can see in the picture that the top panel is badly deformed; however. I will try to make or get another cover for it so that you have something presentable. In any case, once the machine is placed on the bin, the top will be up above 6 feet and out of sight anyways. The bin you see in the picture does have feet; I simply unscrewed them to make it easier to load on and off my trailer. I do also have the door to the bin; I just left it off so that it wouldn't blow off while riding down the road in my trailer. Everything works great on this machine; it makes piles of ice as it should. The only thing I noticed is the condenser fan motor has a lot of play, so I will replace that before I sell it to you, as I do not want that to become an issue later. I know the photos kind of make this ... morething look like a piece of junk the way it is just sitting there in my trailer on blocks(to compensate for unlevel ground so I could run the machine for a bit) but it is actually a very nice machine once it is installed in place with all its covers. I will try to get someone to help me put it back up onto its bin later and get some better pictures of it so you see what it will really look like. But as you can see in the pictures, this machine has not been abused. The top cover blew off on the highway; that's the only reason why that is messed up. Nothing happened to the rest of the machine. The compressor sounds great, the water pump sounds great, everything except for the condenser fan, which I will replace before sale. Any time you are shopping for a used ice machine, you want to pay extra special attention to the condition of the evaporator plate, because that is the main part of any ice machine that is usually far too expensive to replace, and it usually goes bad before the compressor does anyways. With this style of ice machine, a Hoshizaki, what eventually starts to happen, but usually not until after 10-15 years, is the stainless steel portion of the plate begins to separate from the copper refrigeration tubing, which
