Heddon Mark Golden 50 Fibreglass Fly Rod- Model 8545- 8' Two-piece, suggested for 7 weight lines, controlled-flex action" Beautiful translucent two-piece fiber- or fibreglass) fly rod with a tip-into-butt fiberglass sleeve ferrule. The appearance of the translucent amber'glass definitely reminds me of the early-1960s FF Fenwicks. Yard-casting to around 40 feet with a WF7F line had me feeling I'd want to reach for an eight weight line to feel more loading. Of course. If you're a 60-feet-of-line-in-the-air-at-all-times kind of guy, you might prefer six weight lines with this rod. Line ratings are just starting points, anyway, as we know. My sense is that this substantial rod would come into its own with a good fish on much more than while just grass-casting. The blank. Wraps/whippings, ... moreand guides—six snakes, a stripper, and tip-top—look very, very good. The reel seat is somewhat scuffed. The cork must've been kind of ugly from the get-go(lots of visible filler) and it still is. The grip feels solid, though—no crumbling—so it's absolutely fishable. No sock came with the rod. I'll cobble something together or at least wrap the pieces individually with packing material. The tube is that unique. Two-flavours-of-green cardboard thing you see in the photos. It's intact structurally, although part of its papery covering is torn. I'll enclose this in an outer shipping tube. Can't think of what I'm leaving out. anything else?

This is a 1978 Fender Telecaster Thinline. Serial number S803122, in exceptionally fine, fully original condition. This guitar even still has its original‘ashtray’ bridge cover! This model features the original Seth Lover twin humbucking pickups, and fully original wiring harness and pots. The original Tele blond finish shows very little playing wear, with the ash grain wood showing through the translucent finish. The guitar weighs a light 6 pounds, 7.9 ounces, and with the chambered thin-line body with that open F-hole, it is very resonant. This Tele is fully original, including tuning keys, black 3-ply beveled pickguard, and top hat switch tip, right down to the original strap buttons. The original frets show only light fret wear, and the neck finish also shows only very minimal wear. The ... moreneck depth is 7/8-inch at the first fret, and the medium‘D’ shaped neck contour is very comfortable-feeling. The neck is straight, the string action is low, and the guitar plays like butter, with very little fret buzz. There is one nick in the finish on the edge near the top, as seen in the close-up, that shows a small area of bare wood and a small redish stained area under the lower horn that is hardly noticeable. Overall, this guitar should easily one of the cleaner 35 year old guitars you will see. There are only some minor pick scuff marks on the treble side of the neck pickup and on the pickguard, and that one nick in the finish, mentioned above. This exceptionally fine vintage Tele Thinline comes in its original Fender hard-shell case with the raised Fender logo. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
