This vintage steel belted and steel lid cooler was manufactured in 5/85. The exterior dimensions are 24.5" including handles. 15" front to back and 13" tall. Interior dimensions are 20.5" wide, 11.5" front to back and 10" deep. There are the usual light scratches, scuffs and dings in the metal and plastic, but nothing excessive. There are no cracks or breaks in the plastic. The handles and hinges are solid. A portion of the locking hasp is missing. The lid sits flat on the cooler and makes a nice seal, with no warping or gaps between lid and cooler. Please carefully view pictures to fully determine condition. The following auction is for a Federal Industries Model SQW3CD Refrigerated Cooler. It is used. Its quite dusty/dirty from setting here at our warehouse. It would look pretty nice if you gave it a good cleaning. I did plug the unit in and it did power on. The inside of the cooler did cool down. I didn't want to let it run.Because of the gap around the glass door causes a lot of the cool air to escape. I did plug it in and tape around the edges. I let it run for about an hour and the temp inside was around 45 degrees. So, it is cooling and seems to be in working order I didn't mess around with the digital dials all that much. I don't know if you set it to certain times if it will kick on or not. The power button and light buttons work. The light is kind of burnt out.But it still ... morecame on. I may have a light here I could offer you. but I am not sure. When we received the unit the wires from the motor were cut. It had been removed out of an Airport around St Louis Mo. The motor does make a little noise when its running. It sounds like the fan is dirty or something. I haven't really cleaned it out underneath. It may just be a good cleaning will fix it. You can hear it though,I don't know how to describe the noise other than a kind of loud WHIRRRRR. This is a very nice deli display cooler with very low miles. The last deli was just storing plates in it, it was too large for their operation. It works well. Refrigeration is in excellent shape, the shelves are good and the lights work. If you need a nice box for a low price this is the one for you. it is 110 volt and 74 inches long. On casters.
