The last 4 pics show it testing a used 2A3, and then NOS 6L6 (5881), 6SN7, and 12AU7 tubes. The 2A3 tested a little lower than it normally would, the 6L6 pegged the needle at 6,000, not close to the normal 5000.

Nice vintage 539a tube tester in rare heavy metal desktop/store tester type Hickok case. Roll chart moves smoothly line test lines up right in the center main meter is responsive and accurate. Tested a couple bogey 12ax7s perfectly but I’m sure it could use some calibration. It does have some issues though. The bias meter is not responding and therefore we had to test the bogey tubes on self bias. The top of the main power switch is broken off so it has to be turn off/on with a pen or something. Otherwise It seems to be working but as I said previously I’m sure it could use a run through and possible recap.
