Up for bids is a Hickok model 799 tube tester with CA-99 adapter. This tester is being s old in working order. Cosmetically tester is clean. Lettering is bold. All knobs are present, outer case is in pretty good shape. This is tester was compared against results using our TV-7D/U and it was very accurate, although it seems to be a bit more conservative on 6SN7 tubes. 1955 Allied Knight-Kit Tube Tester-83YX142/3 This is a nice Vintage tube tester from 1955. It is by Allied Radio of Chicago. It has the how to build and trouble shoot manual included. It also instructs how to test tubes. I use to restore and repair old radios and I used it quite a bit years ago. I wanted to make sure it still worked. So I found an old radio stored downstairs and pulled a few tubes out of it to test this evening and a really old tube from a TRF radio I have sitting in my family room. The results are as follows. Which tells me the Tube Tester still works, which is a good thing! 6SK7- Tested good and no shorts or gas problems. 6F6- Had a short from the get go. 80(very old tube) Tested weak but good. I included some pictures of the meter during some of the testing. Just to show ... moreit working as well as the lighted filaments, the lighted meter and Roll Chart. Even the power cord is in nice condition. There is a small cigarette burn on the outside by the handle. Remember the days when people smoked anywhere and everywhere? This is the roll chart assembly for Precision tube testers models: 10-12 10-15 10-20 10-22 10-54 Part number is RM-10 Form MRC-H2G) Probably the chart version) This is the"High speed" version It rolls from one end to the other without any problems. The paper isn't torn or damaged. As you can see in the pictures someone in the past has made a correction on the data for one tube. I am not aware if the correction is acurate. There is also light surface rust on the steel parts of the assembly. The gears however are clean and roll beautifully. It has three holes for mounting 5inches apart one from the other. Up for bid is a used Vintage BK Precision Dynascan Model 470 CRT Tube Tester/Rejuvenator Includes 4 Adapters Cord where the adapters fit in has been taped with black tape. Not sure why. Item shows cosmetic wear. Description: This is an old BK Precision CRT Tester. It is in the original box with 4 different adapters. It does power on. But I do not know how to really test the functionality, so it is being sold AS IS. The case is broken at the hinges so it is in two pieces. The adapters are numbered 1, 5, 7. Not sure about the other larger one.

Up for auction is TV-7/U tube tester. Included is a tube data booklet. And the pin straighteners. This unit is being sold as-is. For parts or repair. The outer case is from a base TV-7/U unit. While the tag says it is a TV-7D/U, this is not correct, as the tester does not have the"F" scale which is unique to TV-7D/U units. I attempted to test a 12AX7 with this unit, and found that the filament would not fire. The line adjustment does work. I did not troubleshot the problem any further than this. Inside. It looks pretty clean and original(at least to my eye, which is no expert on TV-7 testers) This is a good parts unit or fixer-upper for a qualified technician. Here's a nice. Very clean Eico model 667 tube and transistor tester. It's the model with the sockets for 7, 9 and 10 pin miniatures, 5,6, and 7 pin subminatures,octals, loctals, and Compactrons. The Eico 667 is the last and the best of the Eico tube testers. This is the one you want if you're working with vintage electronics. The Eico 667 tester is of the"Dynamic Conductance" type which was originally designed by Jackson as an improvement over simple emission testers without infringing on Hickok's patented"Dynamic Mutual Conductance" design. Eico licensed it from Jackson. And produced a very good tester of this type. The Eico version has an advantage over many, in that it actually measures leakage values on the tester meter instead of using a simple go/no-go"shorts" ... morelamp. This is invaluable for finding leakage paths that simply don't show up using the less sensitive lamp method. For sale is a HEATHKIT TC- 1 Tube Tester. This unit is working and is in overall good condition. As you can see in the first picture i am testing a known good 12AU7 tube. This tester is pretty clean couple blemishes and small dent but nothing seems to be effecting the use of the machine. The units roll chart does work(slightly sticky as most are) The unti tests everything from small 7 pins to the large old 4 pin tubes. As always with tube tester it must be assumed with electronics this old that any tube tester may be in need of calibration. Due to its age the unit is sold as is. Heathkit V-7A vacuum tube voltmeter& ohmmeter with the hard-to-find high voltage probe for vacuum tubes(see photo) Unit appears to work. But I did not test every function. This meter does not come with a manual. There are minor scuffs to the front of the clear plastic meter cover. And a small crack along the top of the clear plastic. This is a gorgeous tube tester. I used it to test several tubes after a thorough cleaning and polishing. All pots and switches were cleaned with de-oxit gold. The wood cabinet has been refinished using Mohawk satin lacquer. Roll chart moves nicely end to end. Will test all the important tubes including the old four pinners and the newer 12AX7's. I just compared test resultes between my Amplitrex AT1000 and this tester on a 6SN7GT and the results were within 2% Tester is in good working condition. All the controls are smooth and do what they should. Tube chart will need some work as it is sometimes loose and then it gets tight. As you can see from the pictures. It is quite clean. TV-2/U tube tester/ checker in very good used condition. As far as I know. All functions work properly and seem to be in good calibration. I've tested many tubes on this tester and never had any problem. All meters, switches and controls work properly and accurately. This tester will test many Western Electric tubes including 300B type. I've mainly used it for 6L6 type power tube matching. I have been selling off much of my collection since I have retired. Here are just a very few examples of tubes this tester can test: WE 274A/B, 300B, WE 310A, WE 350A, 12AX7, 801A, 807, 5691, 5692, 5693, 6146, 00A, 01A and 0Z4 as well as most loctal tubes and early double digit tubes. It will also check many ballast tubes. This tester can closely match tubes because of its ability to individually ... morecontrol plate, screen and grid voltages. Please ask before you bid if you have a question about a particular tube this tester may or may not be able to check. There is a roll chart mounted inside the case on the lid that covers most common electron tubes. There is also a booklet that I will enclose that gives the data settings needed for testing many more tubes. The test leads have been replaced with the correct high voltage type insulation. The red lead is typically deteriorated in these testers so having good test leads is a plus for you. The power cord has also been replaced with a new grounded type. Condition is very good. There are a few dings(a small dent on the bottom of the case near one of the feet) and paint chips due to normal age and use. Overall. It is very presentable for your workbench. There are also two things I would like to note with this tester: 1) As can be seen by the photos, the grey paint has flaked off especially on the left side and some on the right side as well as the bottom near the pushbutton switches. 800x600 This is a model 539C transconductance tube tester made by Hickok. It is in very good to excellent condition. I tested some tubes on this and it appears to work fine. Notice the EL34. 6L6G, and 12AX7, tube under a test. Includes grid/ plate clip lead, and original manual with tube setting data. Serial number is 29200870. The case is in good condition with a few scuffmarks. Front panel looks very good and has only a few scratches. I cannot guarantee this unit is calibrated, and will probably need some calibration, due to age. All meters and switches work. SENCORE M TUBE TESTER(FOR PARTS/REPAIR) Sold as parts/repair unit- no refunds. This was near the top of the line(if not THE top of the line) tube tester in the Sencore line. Produced in the 1960's I believe. When fully working, this model is capable of testing for dynamic mutual conductance, emissions, shorts, life test, and grid leakage. Good physical condition. With some signs of rust on metal/chrome band that goes around the case. Handle/latches work fine. Unit weighs about 22lbs by itself. Opened up the unit to take a picture of internals for potential buyers. Saw one resistor(upper left in photo) that appeared to have some signs of overheating.
