Up for auction is this great Hickok 600A Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester. It is overall in great condition with only light scratching on the top cover as shown. The front face with the controls is in great condition. All of the knobs are in place and the roll chart works good too. As for the working condition. I am not sure but it plugged it in and could get a reading with the line adjustment although the meter movement sticks some. I did not attempt to test any tubes but I'm sure with some TLC this could be made into a great tester for you. It comes with the original operating manual which has the schematic and even has the original warranty guarantee certificate. It has been stored indoors in a smoke free and climate controlled home. Included is a copy of the operator's manual and an extensive tube data supplement. The KS-15750-L2 was manufactured by Hickok for Western Electric and is of the highest quality. Despite being built for industrial research and development service this example has escaped with only a few dings and scratches suggesting limited use. Upon opening the lid a stunning faceplate and knobs are revealed once again confirming limited service. The only detraction is a missing right hand lid stop arm and stud. Hickok 800A Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester This tester is in good condition. Fully tested and completely operational. Case and face of unit are in nice condition for its age, however it is missing its lid. When testing tubes, I found this tester to perform all prescribed tests successfully, but it gives slightly lower readings than my calibrated Hickok 6000A tester. I believe the issue to be one of the incoming line level which tells me the 83V mercury vapor tube or the 5Y3 rectifier tube may be getting a little on the weak side. The TV-7/ 10 series of military tube testers are considered some of the best testers ever made. The TV-10 is a larger variant of the TV-7 and has a major advantage in that it reads out directly in micromhos and has a built in roll chart. The design is supremely rugged and compact. It tests a great many types quickly and easily and enjoys wide support. If you want a tube tester that gives great results with a direct readout than this is the one! The TV-10 is not a very well known tube tester. There just weren't very many of them made and they are hard to find. It is basically an up-scale version of the ... moreever popular TV-7. Like most other US military tube testers. The TV-10 is a mutual transconductance tester designed by Hickok. This TV-10A/U is a pretty nice example. The outer case has its share of superficial dings and scratches but inside it is in great condition. Very clean panel and immaculate interior. The roll chart works smoothly and the tube tester works just fine as well. The only flaws worth mentioning is a crack or two in the plastic instruction sheet mounted in the lid and the power cord is getting a little stiff. I compared the readings with a friends TV-7 and this set was close but slightly higher on the tubes we checked[12AX7. 6V6, 6L6, 6BQ5] It has a Navy calibration sticker from 1968, so it's somewhat overdue for a calibration[several guys on the web will do calibrations reasonably] It measures approx 18" X 7" X 10" and very well packed[double boxed] shipping weight will be 26.5 pounds from zip code 24012. This is a US Military TV-7 D/U electron tube tester. It was manufactured by Polartron Inc in Long Branch NJ and has a serial number of 1142. There is one stencil marking on the case that says"TV-7A/U" but the other stencil ID's and the manufacturing plate say"TV-7D/U. Hickok 600A Tube Tester Working in Good Shape This tester is in good working condition. As you can see from the panel face there is not much wear around the knobs as happens when a tester is used frequently. This unit has an 83 tube rectifier and a 5Y3WGT tube rectifier. Unit has been tested on various tubes an gave typical results. Meter jumps to position promptly for test results or line adjust. Outer cloth covering of case shows typical wear with some worn through spots at edges and corners. Has all four rubber feet and original handle. Power cord has been replaced. Selling my Vintage Triplett vacuum tube tester after it serving me well for many years. I just don't have the use for it anymore as I am not as active as I used to be in the antique radio hobby. This set is in excellent original condition and even includes original hang tags and even has the original warranty card that was never mailed. My Dad had sent away for a manual from the Triplett company and he was fortunate enough for them to mail him back a photo copy of the manual that is also included as well as the mailing they sent for other products. They are still in business today! This tester is very much like other brands like Hickok or Precision or Jackson. Back in the Golden Age of Radio. There was nothing more valuable to the home radio hobbyist than his or her Tube Checker. Here is a 1920s or 1930s Supreme Tube Checker. Model 19, complete and compact in its original solid wood box. Everything is original in this kit including the electrical cord-which is still supple and un-frayed after all this time. The Tube Checking part is untested. Granted. But this wonderful box of Tube-Checking is so clean and, well, lovely. It hardly seems to matter in the end. Even the white leather carrying strap is still soft and without frays. The hinges are all there and in great working order too. This is a Heathkit TC-2 tube tester. Very easy to use and known for reliability. The TC-2 will test 4, 5, 6, 7(large) octal, loctal, 7 and 9 pin miniatures. Will also test pilot lamp bulbs. All knobs present and all controls work, as they should. Illuminated roll chart is in good condition with no rips, tears or tape. Included is schematic, supplemental tube data, users guide and an extra roll chart. Will test vintage, military and modern types including all popular audio tubes. Grid/plate cap is in great condition. This tester has been refurbished and capacitors/ diodes were replaced. All resistors were checked and several were replaced. This tester is very accurate and tubes shown being tested were tested in a known calibrated Hickok 539C tester and gave the same results with the 12AX7 being ... moremarginal and the 6L6 good. Tester is in a roomy case with schematic and tube cross reference charts in the lid. U.S. Army Signal Corps Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Here is a great vintage tube tester for checking out those old tubes. Made for the U.S. Army Signal Corp by the Daven Corp. Model I-177-B made in the 1950's. Serial Number 1511. I don't know a thing about this tester. My brother was a big collector of military items and this was in his collection. It looks to be in good condition. Not all beaten up. Can't say if it works or not. It has the original w prong power wire plug still intact. The Department of the Army Technical Bulletin TB 11-2627-2 is still in place and in good condition. The case.It is in, looks to be factory painted"Navy Gray" over"Army Olive Drab" that can be seen through a few scratchs on the case. It is that color inside and out. ... more100% sure done as a factory color change as it's so well done. So probably was used in the Navy vs in an Army field position, if used at all. There is a data/ serial# plackard on the front of the case by the handle. Hard to read as it' has a light coat of gray paint over it. Since I don't know how to use it or have a tube to test. Offered is a lot of@1200 Hickok 123 Cardmatic tube tester cards. This lot comes in what's left of an RD Instruments case which is missing its lid. Someone added a cardboard top to keep everything in place. This card set has a little bit of everything in it. Cards start at 0A2 and run up to 9006. With a good set of 2-digit radio cards and a fair amount of 4-digit industrial cards. There's a good set of 6-volt cards for radios' ie: 6L7, 6SQ7, 6SC7 etc. A bunch of 12volt cards for 12BY7, 12AX7. 1-volt cards, 3-volt cards, 5-volt cards including 5AR4, 5U4(i think) Industrial cards starting at 5642 running through 7308. Offered is an original manual for a HICKOK 123/A Cardmatic tube tester. The manual comes complete with its original set of set-up cards. Calibration cell, and an additional set of@40 calibration cards. The calibration cell may or may not still be good. The last date for inspection was 1978, which is a few years ago. The calibration cards start at card#1 and run through#53. There is one card absent#14. These cards are for a more detailed calibration of the 123. Cards are entitled: Meter, Shorts, Bias, Main B+, DC Filament Cathode, Meter Shunt, Decade Resistor, etc. If you have a 123/A this might be a useful item for you. Shipping is extra.

This is a nice Military TV-2c(the lastest version) in excellent operating condition. And good cosmetic condition. This is considered by some to be one of the best testers based on the Hickok Gm circuit. I've gone through the complete cal check(there are a few errors in the procedure) and added a few checks of my own. Everything checks out fine and I've tested a bunch of tubes(see the list iin the c/o sheet(last 3 pictures) This includes spare tubes(83 and 6X4) The screen supply rectifier's(6X4) heater is on a winding of the plate/ screen transformer. This causes screen voltage drift as a result of changing the plate fine adjust. This issue is nicely resolved by changing the screen rectifier to diodes, I made a 7 pin plug-in adapter for this. Every switch, pot and meter operate ... morefine. The case has the usual dents and scrapes and if you're fussy it could use a paint job. The interior and front panel. Including the knobs and meters, are in excellent condition. The roll chart in the lid works very smoothly with no binding. The original manual is in good condition. There are a number of manuals(operating and test) manuals available on the BAMA site: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 and Shipping will be by UPS for 56 lbs from 91784. The dimensional weight rules(UPS and USPS) for the box are what determines this shipping weight. This will require a 24 x 24 x 16in. box for safe shipping. Up for auction is a Hickok 600A Micromho Mutual Conductance(Gm) Tube Tester. This tester is in working condition. But but is being sold“as is” since it has not been recently calibrated. The meter is in excellent condition; the knobs are tight and the chart roll bar works all the way to both ends. As can be seen from the panel face. There is little wear around the knobs which happens from frequent use. This unit operates using both a 83 tube rectifier and a 5Y3WGT tube rectifier. When these tubes were replaced. Very nice Heathkit tube tester. Original circuitry and never modified. Works great. Truly tested. Inspected, lubricated and found worthy. It was tested couple of 6C4 tubes and performs fine. The unit is from the period and circuitry never modified. You get the resistors for your own rebuilding and the condenser. As a bonus you get the 9 pins novar socket silver bathed contacts and use the auxiliary port for this and also you get an extra chicken head knob functional with set screw. Cable fine. Meter works, cabinet was re-finished, handle works, lights work, neon light works, switches working fine, chart intact and works. Inspected for mold. I tested a few different tubes with the unit, and it seems to work fine. Test results comparable to other similar calibrated tube testers I have. Don't have any manuals for it, but they can be obtained on the internet. Its calibration status is unknown. It is always recommended that a tester be calibrated before being used. This was from the Estate of a former Bell System retiree and part of his personal collection. It has been safely stored away for many years and has been kept in good condition and comes with the original manual, an extra tube roll chart, sencore vibra-daptor. and more paperwork regarding tube descriptions. It was powered on and my husband tested a few tubes. It seems to work well and looks complete and has all it's knobs. Mint condition! Here at this auction is an antique Lafayette Model TE-50 Tube Tester. For hi-fi, guitar, amps. Comes with operating manual/instructions. A slide out built in drawer holds the tube data charts. Cosmetically show's some small wear and marks from age. But still in good condition. Powered up and tested a tube 12AU7 for emission tests showing good conductance( Micromhos) with no leakage or shorts present. The tester is great for matching pairs of tube based on emission tests. This tester is very compact and lightweight. Good for on the job testing or teaching students about tubes. The unit is small and compact measuring 10" x 8 1/4" x 2 1/2" It weighs in at 6 pounds. Very portable and easily carried on field calls and used Electronics bench tests. USA ONLY!
