You are bidding on a Statim 5000 in not working condition. Cosmetically. It looks great and was working great up until a few weeks ago. It stopped working because the probe that goes into the back of the cassette bent. I have 3 other autoclaves in the office, so I can afford to let this one go. Up for auction is Pelton& Crane Sterilizer. Model 216. It has been in my family since new. My father was a GP here in NC and practiced medicine from 1938 thru 1973. I am not sure when he purchase it, but I do remember it being in his office when I was as young as 8 years old(1956) I have checked this and it heats fine. It has three setting for heat: Fast, Medium and Slow. It also has a temp setting from 200 degrees to 300 degrees. I have had it stored for many years and just decided to sell it. I checked it out to make sure it worked and it did. The inside compartment is 16" long by 6 inches wide and about 4" deep. It has a small tray and a full length tray. From what I can see, I think it was made of brass and chromeplated over that. The cord is fine. Also, it comes with a wall ... moremounting bracket. This is how he had it mounted in his office. I am setting a price I feel is reasonable, but will also accept offers on this unit. The shipping weight with the sterilizer and bracket is about 25 lbs. The weight of the unit with bracket is about 19 lbs, but the box and packing material are about 5-6 pounds more. Shipping includes insurance as well. Thanks. Up for bid is a good working. Tested, Midmark M7 Speedclave Autoclave. It was used daily in my father's dental office up until a couple of months ago. He replaced it with a larger unit, but never had any issues with the M7. Now that he trusts the new unit he gave me the go ahead to sell the M7 which he had been saving as a backup.
