This is a non-metallic. Very heavy duty plastic, electrical junction box from Carlon Lamson& Sessions. It is their No. AT-808,297 Model CJ1085. It has a hinged door which closes with 6 attached screws. It is marked AUMA on the door. It has a date of 3/28/99 inside on the sticker and Type"1.3, 3S, 4, 4X, 12, 13. It is in very good condition. Box measures approx. 9" wide(not including the protruding hinge) 11" tall(not including the 4 mounting feet which are about 1 3/4" long each, and is about 6 1/2" thick. Of course. You don't have to use this neat item for electrical purposes; use your imagination. It would make a good survival kit box, an ammo box; you could use it as a wall-mounted box for your treasures or items to keep from small children, etc.
