Here is a very ornate antique silverplated hot water or coffee tilting pot with stand and matching cup. It is marked as made by the Aurora Silver Plate Mfg Co and is triple plated. The pieces are numbered 44 for the pot. 044 on the stand and 047 on the bottom of cup. It is definately from the Aesthetic movement period with multi-motif Japanese influence. It is richly engraved with a floral like swag or curtains with tassels. Below the spout has what looks to be figural ears of corn. It has bands that are decorated with flowers, wheat and running dog or fox. The cup is also engraved with a floral motif and the same band with the fox/dog on it. It also has a face on the handle. The stand too has the same dog/fox band with very ornate deocorative openwork. The base has a little deocrative stopper ... moreto keep the pot from tipping backwards. The pot is double walled and has a little metal flapper on the inside of the spout. Sadly this grouping is not perfect. The little decorative piece of scrollwork on the underside of the stand's handle has broken out. But is included as you can see it in the photo. Also the end of the little side hook to hang the cup is broken off and missing. The lower area below the spout looks a a little pushed in, not sure if this is normal and is from when it was made or not. It seems to be a pretty sturdy piece and pushing this in would be pretty hard. Below the spout in the open area it is engraved with a date of"Sept. 14, 1881" The base of the cup is a little bent so it does not sit pefectly flat. I have to say though I don't think this pot was used much at all. The plating looks really nice, hardly any scratching and it is quite clean inside and out, this goes for the cup as well. The stand measures about 16 3/4" tall to the top of handle. The pot measures about 11" tall and almost 6" wide across the base. The cup is about 3 7/8"tall. I think the winner will be overall quite impressed with the decorativeness and ornate workmandship of this piece. It's

I descaled this machine yesterday(ran water and white vinegar through it) this cleans the insides. I then ran about seven pots of hot water through the machine to get the vinegar out. when the machine is empty it weights only 21 pounds. This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scuff marks and scratches on the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are in good condition and all words and numbers are visible. The warmer plates are in good condition with no cracks or chips. The power cable is in good condition with no cuts or frayed areas. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. The three lights all turned on as well. We turned on the top and lower warmer plates and let them sit for 15 minutes. The plates became ... morevery warm. We used our digital thermometer and it measured 340-440 degrees Fahrenheit. We then turned on the brewer and we could hear the item running. There was some water still left in the tank and water began to come out the brew basket. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to connect this item to a water hookup and can not test the complete functionality of the item. This item looks to be fully functional but since we are unable to test the complete functionality of the item we are required to sell this item as is.
