Unit has been tested and is in full working order. Tank holds temperature with no leaks. I pulled some shots with it and they looked great. Steam wand works perfectly also. I removed and cleaned the servos and valves. There does appear to be a VERY slow drip in the hot water ball valve. I am not sure if it will stop once unit is in everyday use or not. But it drips maybe every 5-10 seconds. The unit is 110V and 1700 watt. Inline water connection is required along with a drain line. I am unable to tell the age of the unit since the sticker on the front is partially worn off, but it has hardly been used by looking at the inside of the unit and the overall condition. I have tested this machine and can find nothing wrong with it other than what is stated above. I have owned this machine for 3 years. I owned a catering company and we would roll this machine out to parties. Weddings, etc. and rock the house. It has two groups and can run off of 220 or 110 power. It is currently setup for 110 because we usually needed it plugged in at somebody's house! It needs a tune up and a deep clean but the last time it was plugged in was at our last event(a grad night at a high school) and she cranked out 200+ drinks in 4.5 hours! For sale is a 1957-59 model year Gaggia Americana. This is a propane/ electric espresso machine that has had a high level of modernization. This machine has a lot of history behind her and has quite the linage of historical footnotes in the annuals of Espresso machine history. An espresso machine of this caliber comes out all of once a year. The only other machines in comparable class run upwards of 10k plus. The chrome is in good condition. The paint schema is in very good shape and does not need work. Product: Not full tested. This is a one owner unit which was acquired from a local university updating their equipment. I removed panels for cleaning and inspection. While I do not know a lot about these units and do not have means to perform complete testing. What I do know: The wires to the small fan motor mounted on top pulled out from the motor. This was actually my fault. Fan motor may need replacing but will include the one that came with it. The wire to the heating element in the grinder piston is not connected. Azkoyen Automatic Espresso Machine AZ04/A This is a very nice machine. Perfect for a small coffee shop, cafe or restaurant! Although Azkoyen is not a huge name in espresso, the quality of this machine is right up to par with Faema, La Sanmarco and Nuova Simoneli. One neat feature of this machine is that it has a mixing valve that mixes the hot water with cold to get the perfect temperature. This espresso machine is a two group unit. The group heads have extra room below them to allow for somewhat larger cups. There are two long steam wands on this machine, both are functioning well but they both have a slow drip out the end(one every 20-30 seconds) There is one hot water tap which is dosable. All the buttons and knobs are fully functional. This machine has just been cleaned inside and out ... moreand given a new paint job on the panels. Check out the pictures and video!
