This truly is a great machine. It delivers great shot aftershot. The steam wands froth milk quickly. The cup warmer on top is a nicefeature to a brick and mortar store. This machine is the best machine on the market. I ditched my La Marzocco machine because this machine makes better coffe. Latte, espresso, short, anything you want. The foam is perfect every time. If you want to do designs in your latte, this machine will enable you from the very first time. We have used this machine for three years. And it is downstream from a very good RO system, keeping everything clean and scale free. It has regular service from Shaerer, who is located right in Southern Californa. It has the latest software upgrades and everything a new machine has except a USB port for remote programming. I love this machine. I hate to see it go but we are closing our cafe and it is too much for home use. Runs on 220 and very low maintenance and almost no problems except fine coffee. ... moreYou can plug it in and start selling coffee tomorrow. I just remembered that we intstalled a new procon pump in this machine about three months ago and other than that. Everything is golden. New price is nearly 15 grand. Beautiful 1981 Gaggia E90 1-Group Commercial Espresso Machine. Operates on any standard 120V 20AMP outlet that can be found in residential or commercial location. 60-day carry-in warranty on labor offered to local customers. Requires dedicated water supply and drain. This 1981 Gaggia was purchased and used as a display piece for over 30 years. When we recovered it. We inspected the boiler and found that it was spotless. Not a trace of dirt or scale inside. After sitting for 30+ years. Some parts had stopped functioning. To get the machine operating again. We installed a new pressure-stat, autofill solenoid, and pump. Everything else on the unit is original. We tested the machine on and off for a week and it operated flawlessly. The brass and copper cladding on this machine has developed a ... morenice patina over the years. It does have some dings and scratches here and there from being moved around. Overall it is in very nice shape for a machine of this age. The dome on top is crowned with an eagle that alone weighs a few pounds. The cladding has a hammered copper finish. Both the boiler pressure gauge and the brew pressure gauge function perfectly. They read the exact pressures in the boiler and on the brewing side. We used this in the shop for a week to test and we found that it produces espresso that's on par with machines being sold today. It has a 3.5 liter boiler and a decent-sized heat exchanger. My Pony Espresso machine is beyond repair(the top opened up and it blows steam through the kitchen like a locomotive- scary) so I'm parting it out. Plastic wand with metal head. I think this is the upgraded version. This steaming wand has minor signs of use. But it's in overall very good condition. It's a heavy solid piece and comes apart for easy cleaning. We have a used 2 group Rancilio Epoca espresso machine. This is an excellent machine for a new coffee shop or anyone who wants to expand their espresso service capabilities. The cost of a new machine is $6K. The machine is volumetric. Therefore it will automatically stop when the correct amount of water has passed through the espresso puck. This machine also features a completely plastic base, which is great engineering because it makes the machine lighter and more resistent to rust.
