This auction is for a heavy duty Brevetto Espresso Grinder. I purchased this grinder from a small ma and pa coffee shop that was going out of business. I tested it and it grinds like a champion! There are multiple settings for how fine/course you want to grind the beans. The only part that isn't working at 100% is the lever used to release the grounds. Sometimes it doesn't catch and you have to try a few times for the spring activated system to rotate the parts. I personally wouldn't take the time to fix the lever. But I'm sure that it is a SUPER simple fix. This machine is extremely heavy because it is made out of cast iron and other metals. That is why shipping costs are $50. This unit was tested and it does work but it has not been cleaned in a long time and there is coffee bean residue left inside. This is a beautiful vintage Jericho J-500 coffee grinder. This is built for heavy duty coffee house use. And makes a perfect batch grinder. It works flawlessly, and features a very quiet motor. The burrs show very little wear. This is designed to grind bulk coffee into a bag for customers, although it could also be used to grind coffee for a large drip coffee maker or French press. Here's a well-used Nuova Simonelli MCD 65 bulk grinder. This was used in our coffee shop before we bought the place. It started to trip the thermal breaker recently. So we bought a new bulk grinder. Then I took a look at this and realized it was kind of gummed up from not being properly cleaned. It should probably be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. The hopper is in good shape with no cracks.
