This is an unusual unknown vendor. I have never seen anything like it and cannot find it in any book. It was made by Schermack so I would think it would vend Stamps or Razor Blades. It has 2 knobs in frond which have inserts to accept a penny. There is wiring attached so it may have had a battery involved in the function. There are holders which look original to the machine which may have held lights or a display of some sort. A real mystery. Unfortunately I do not have the front of the machine. It is sold as is. I now believe this machine is a"REFILL YOUR FLASHLIGHT" vending machine. A very astute collector has a very similar machine which would vend D size batteries and flashlight bulbs. It also had a tester built in which would account for the wiring.

Vintage Antique Bottle-type Pepsi Coke Vending Machine Dixie Narco model 220 This is a Dixie-Narco model 220 bottle-type Pepsi vending machine that we used since the late 1970's at Good Times PowerSports. Before we switched to a machine to vend canned drinks sometime in the 1990's. The manufacturer's number is 4911-UF220, and the serial number is 9HF 66112. It is rated for outside use, but has been used only indoors for all its life. I have owned it since 1978. It is in good working condition. And is currently plugged in and cooling. The last time we used it, it vended properly. I don't have any bottled drinks to test it with now, so it is being sold as-is. It is in fair cosmetic condition with one torn place in the front decal. Up for bids is an antique 1985 Cavalier Coca-Cola vending machine. Machine measures 4 1/2 feet tall. 2'4" wide and 1'10" front to back. I bought this item at an estate auction thinking I could come home, plug it in and have cold sodas. It is missing a key so I knew I would have to do a little work. Turns out it needs the Freon charged in the cooling system. The system is holding pressure, I am able to relieve pressure by pressing the inline charging valve. It has strong pressure so I only released enough to test it. The compressor kicks on fine, but kicks back off after a couple of seconds( I believe this confirms the system only needs charging) The fan works great. I have no key so I'm not able to provide internal pics of the machine. Neither the lock or machine have ... morebeen jimmyed or tampered with. The vending door works great and the seals are nearly flawless. It has some scuffs and scratches from being between other machines( age) It's had no cleaning whatsoever, but looks really nice and with a little cleaning and touch up could be even better. I put quarters in it to see if I could gain knowledge that way, but the coins are returned to the change slot. This could be because I used new quarters or because the machine is empty or possibly the coin mech is missing, I assume it could be any or all of these things. It was used indoors at an arcade then stored in a warehouse after the arcade closed. If I can make a couple of bucks and make someone happy at the same time I would love to sell it. I have no charging equipment so I would have to get someone to make a service call to recharge the Freon and pay to have a locksmith key it for me.
