Rubicon 1052 Portable Wheatstone Bridge 13-T-321- VG Working This is an old Rubicon Company Cat. 1052 Wheatstone Bridge. It has a General Electric Property Tag on it and the wood box is marked: 13-T-321 WHEATSTONE BRIDGE. I believe this Bridge is from the 1950's. It has a calibration tag on it from 1970- probably the last time ite was used. The Wheatstone Bridge is in excellent working condition. I put 3 D-batteries in and it worked as expected. There is no corrosion(they had removed the batteries) and the inside is very clean. The only weak spot I can see is the leather handle. It was repaired- but I would not lift the heavy box by the handle. This item is in solid working condition. McMartin TX-700 Speaker-Load Analyzer with internal built-in generator and detector. Complete instrument- no other equipment needed. Not a cosmetic beauty due mostly to age. This analyzer functions as new. There is no damage anywhere to the heavy steel case which provides shielding as well as rugged protection. This McMartin speaker load analyzer works perfectly and properly. It has not been repaired. Modified, or altered in any way. The case and knobs have traveled, but all switches and controls work very well and the internal circuitry is very nice. Note how clear and clean the null indicating meter is- try to disregard the vertical shadows cast in it. This impedance analyzer with its own internal generator and detector is very easy to use. Intuitive, and direct reading. There's nothing ... morelike old-school! I have tested this analyzer with both simple and complex loads of both signs. It is remarkably accurate. I have LCR meters and when I construct a complex load and connect it to this TX-700 the null is"close enough" to the calculated impedance(r+/ j) close enough! No manual is supplied but none is required if you have basic familiarity with impedance and load concepts. After a few minutes of fun experimenting. You'll be familiar with its operation. Primarily intended to analyze the 25V. 70V, and 100V load lines commonly encountered in commercial sound work this meter indicates quite accurately even at 8-ohms and below- see front panel control Z1 range from 2.5- 25 ohms; it may be read directly or multiplied by control Z2. Nulled by Meter Zero control, the value of the impedance is directly interpreted(read) by the knob settings- with very little error! Here for your consideration is One Vintage General Radio Impedance Bridge 1650A in Good cosmetic condition with some signs of age.
