All dials are intact with no chips or cracks and move as they should. As you can see in the pictures when the knobs are adjusted the needle does move. I have no idea how to hook something up to this or if its calibrated but it appears to be working(no gaurantee) The plastic cover over the needle is in nice condition with no chips or cracks and minimal to no wear. There are a red and black cable included with aligator clips on one end and streight pins on the other and the thinker black cable in the picture has the threaded end on one side and nothing on the other. I personally used this unit in an AM antenna system in Alaska above the Arctic Circle. It performed flawlessly. I recently got involved in broad-banding of AM antennas. The standard Delta OIB-1 is really not suitable for this work. The 1606 is perfect for this. Its precise readout allow pin-point accuracy in reading carrier and sideband impedances. The main features are frequency range of 400 kHz to 60 MHz. Direct reading of resistance to 1000 Ώ and reactance to +/ 5000 Ώ. Standard General Radio type 874 connector is provided for generator input. A coax cable with 874 on one end and BNC on the other ... moreend is provided.
