Item recovered locally. Power on tested only and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Hewlett Packard 1645A Data Error Rate Analyzer. This came in from a local test facility along with a lot of other test equipment. A lot of items from here are good, they have just been in storage for many years and are no longer needed. Has old calibration sticker on it that says calibration last done 11-15-94. I don't know how to test this piece of equipment, but powered it up and it seemed to power up okay. Had an OUT OF LOCK and RCV DATA INV light illuminate. Also illuminated the BIT ERROR, CARR LOSS and BLOCK ERROR lights. A LOSS OF DATA light lit up on the panel and the number 1 continuously lit up and extinguished repeatedly at the right hand end of the panel. Since I don't know what this is suppose ... moreto do, I have described what I have done to semi-test the unit. Could work fine, as I have no way of testing unit, so will be selling AS IS.
