Nice oscilloscope. Which unfortunately doesn't work. When I first got it the power came on, Windows booted, and the Tektronix splash screen appeared, but I couldn't get a waveform to display or the knobs to work. Now it doesn't power on, absolutely nothing happens when you apply power. Unit is complete. Hard disk is still good. This is not a scrapped pre-release unit, it is a regular production model with a serial number that begins with B. Sold AS-IS, no returns.

Various Tektronix Oscilliscope models consist mostly of Model 2245 but also contains 400 series. Units have been verified to power on but no other testing has been conducted. Left overs from of a large lot of military test equipment in which all the HP was removed. This lot is being sold for parts and is sold as is. As a reference to possible functionality of these units about 40% of HP pulled were working. 35% were repairable and 25% were deemed scrap with limited usable parts. These figures are just for reference and the Tektronix should be comparable but there has been no testing to verify.

This Tektronix model 2445 with GPIB was in a room where there was a fire and has some discoloration and has a small knob on the readout intensity that is a bid deformed and one front foot that has a little damage but as far as being functional the scope seems to work perfectly except for the on/off button which sticks a little but still turns the unit on and off. It could use a good cleaning but as you can see by the pictures it is a good working unit and comes with a pouch and 5 probes, 1 direct probe and 2 10x probes and 2 switchable 1x/10x combo probes. One of the 10x probes has a 9 foot reach and one has a 6.5 foot reach. it also comes with a power cord. I have taken the best pictures I can to show the discoloration. Model T922 is a 1976-1977 year dual-channel. 15 MHz scope. I purchased this oscilloscope from Tektronix service department several years ago. Except for a small notch on the front bottom left corner of the case the scope is both externally and functionally in almost new condition, being maintained before my purchase by Tektronix trained technicians. Both channels function over their ranges as they should and all switches work just fine. I am a retired EE and used it only sporadically in my home projects. Please take a good look at my pictures.
