It has very good clean focus beam to my eye. It is on sale because of these three things to keep in mind before buying: for the sake of full disclose 1. As you can see in the fifth photo. A little part of the SCALE ILLUM knob has been broken off. You never touch the knob once you figured out your preference. 2. There is a rare ghost wave on channel one not long after booting up. It happens too rare to find a pattern for the occurrence. So I am not saying it will happen. But that it can. If it does happen, just tweak the channel one control knob a bit. Not a big deal. 3. The MCP(Microchannel Plate) protection ... moresystem is always enabled. I don't know if the internal needs to be tweaked or if I need to do it. From"EXER 09" menu.
