If you've always wanted one of these 6GHz samplers but couldn't afford the high cost. This might be your best chance. I have to call it"for parts or not working" because it only has one of its two channels operational. But the single channel(CH1) seems to be fine and it does have the 2F option giving it waveform integration, differentiation, and FFT(see pictures) I was able to piece this together from TDS520 and TDS820 parts units, hence the front panel with the extra keys and graphics covered. Basically this thing does not run and capture unless there is a valid trigger and repetitive waveform. The trigger can be picked off either channel. The EXT IN, or an internal oscillator, and it will occur at the beginning of the sweep(plus 20ns) The channel input is 50 ohm only, and has a maximum amplitude of 200mV per division. Application of signal beyond +/6V peak is dangerous to the sampler front end. I would keep a 10dB SMA attenuator pad on the channel input all of the time and never take it off unless I have verified a low amplitude signal. Hello! This auction for for a very nice early 1940's vintage RCA Oscilloscope model 155-C. The front panel lists it as an oscillograph though. I tried to take as many pictures as possible. The outside has some wear and tear(but not too bad) but the inside looks very clean. It appears to be complete also, with no missing tubes or knobs. All of the original binding posts are there as well! This item is untested, and may work, but could also be restored or used as parts. I have not seen one this old outside of a museum! I received it recently in a lot of vintage electronic equipment that was Ham radio usage in nature, so I am assuming that is what it was used for, although I am surely not an expert. I'm selling 2 of my own scopes that were my own workhorses. This one here is 2465BDM with all options but TV. It was my backup scope for my main 2465BDV that I used for my own work. The other one. In a separate auction, is 2465BDV- almost the same but WITH Video option. Everything else(GPIB, CTT, WR, Multimeter) is the same. Item description will be almost identical for both scopes(it takes too much time to write separate detailed descriptions. Photos are of the actual scope except multimeter reading that is the same for both of them and I somehow forget to take a picture for both of theme so only one shown. I won't be quoting 2465B specs- those who know 2465B don't need them and those who do need specs don't need 2465B: Those 2 scopes were fully refurbished(finished last August or so) for my own use. By that time they had fresh Li batteries installed so those are one year old now and will definitely last for at leas 10 more years(there is a sticker with installation date on each battery. Power supplies were fully recapped with proper fresh high quality capacitors(all electrolytics and all line input X2/Y1 caps. This is a Tektronix 466 Storage Oscilloscope. Clean and not beatup. I was able to get the traces on the CRT one time then when I clean the front I was not able to get the traces back. You can see the trace with the beam finder and the CRT lights up when you press the storage button. Do not know if something got set wrong and cannot get the trace back or if the scope has another problem. Scope will be sold as is for parts or fixup. Would be a great parts set.
