I just ordered some CR2450N coin cells to further test these. I was testing these with a bench power supply and three seem to work fine. However one will cycle the display by itself. I had six of these and my daughter sold them all about a year ago but the buyer claimed that these four did not power up. I just got around to looking at them and the problem is obvious- there is a plastic insulator that will block the cell connection if it is not rotated properly. They just have one button and a menu driven programming environment that I do not fully understand. Three are missing the clip.

Hello. You are bidding on a nice set of civil defense instruments, including a V-750 dosimeter charger, two V-742 dosimeters that measure 0-200 roentgens, and a manual. The dosimeter is in great operating shape, i have tested it with a d battery and it lights and charges both dosimeters as it should, however I am not an expert on radiological instruments. Eberline SRM- 100 Smart Radiation Monitor This Unit is used with a few scratches and discoloration(see photos for cosmetics) and includes a bnc cable and GM Probe. The unit powers up and you can see the background and what happens when we put the detector near a source. I Cannot get any sound from the speaker but the menus on setting this thing is tricky for me. Perhaps you will have better luck! There are contacts on the back for an alarm output and when the alarm LED comes on while near a source. I do hear a click from what I believe is a relay opening and closing.

I am unable to test this but the set it was in was in great working condition and I have received feedback on that item. Very good condition. Works good. Uses 5.6V E164 batteries(not included) I tested this item by clipping an external power source to the battery holder and tested it on my microwave oven. The meter is very sensitive and was able to measure 0.2 mW/cm2 radiation coming out the front door.
