Fluke VR101S Voltage Event Recorder System. This unit is Washington state surplus and has markings on the box stating it's obsolete. I installed the software on a Dell laptop and found the unit to be in good working condition. I do not know a lot about it but when plugged into the wall brings up the information about my electricity in the software(see picture) I am including both the Fluke Event recorder which includes the serial cable. Software, instructions, and box as well as the Dell Laptop computer and charger. The Dell Laptop is an older model and is probably not fast enough for much of anything anymore though it's perfect for the Fluke Event recorder as it works best on an older computer. This is a classic vintage Heath Servo-Recorder in remarkably good condition. It actually still works. But could use a bit of tweaking by someone familiar with electronics to get it to top-performing condition. The schematic diagram is included, and the manual is available on the internet. This uses ordinary fiber-tip pens, and comes with a full roll of chart paper, which is also still available on the internet. It has 6 full-scale sensitivities from 10 mv F.S. to 250 mv F.S. 12 digital chart speeds are selectable, from 0.5 in/hr to 12 in/min. This unit was factory manufactured and sold for $295 back around 1970, which made it the least expensive strip-chart recorder at the time. CHINO CHART RECORDER ES610-02 2 channel type'K' TC 0 to 2000 deg(used but runs) This is a used chart recorder model ES610-02 that I found in my storage from a past job in which I removed it and replaced with an Allen Bradley remote I/O system which stored the chart data to a system hard drive and also allowed for printing only when required. I dusted this off a bit and connected a 120 vac power cord to test it. This unit still works. But the ink is dried out. The paper had all been used up and it most probably will need to be re-calibrated before use. I had thought about connecting my thermocouple calibrator to verify it. But without ink or paper I thought twice and just decided to list it for sale here on Ebay. I used some Windex to clean the outside and realized too late that Windex ... moreerases number tags. So I slid the unit out of the case to take a picture of the internal tag as you can see in my pictures. This unit makes a chart impression every few seconds and alternates between ink colors at every impression. In this way I guess that one channel could be blue like the temporary thermocouple I had hastily fabricated so I could use my little pocket butane torch to heat and witness the needle move upscale when heated and downscale as it cooled. The channel for the red ink was not tested. Yes. This unit has had much less than a clean controlled lab environment in which to operate, and there is some rust at the rear screws and the plastic has yellowed. I am going to select the category named as"for parts or not working" because I have no more to tell you than what I have told in this listing description and in my pictures. I have had this running on my bench for several hours. But no ink marks appear on the re-cycled paper. Both chart speeds as well as the paper fast advance works.
