You are bidding on an Antique Enterprise#31 6 Quart Sausage Stuffer Lard/Fruit Duck Press. I completely broke this down and gave it an electrolysis cleaning and gave it a light seasoning as you would a cast iron skillet. This is a#6 press which is a little more rare because all you see is 4's and 8's. There are no breaks. Cracks or repairs done to this press. This is usable or for someone's collection. It also comes with all the parts as seen in the pictures which is not to often that they all stay together. The inside of the bucket is still in good condition you can still see the milling marks from when they milled it back when it was made. I totally broke this down and gave it a electolysis cleaning and gave the bowl and auger a seasoning as you would a cast iron skillet which makes it ready for use. This piece was galvanized after the casting was done by the manufacturer. There are no breaks or cracks on this piece but the one original wing nut was broke and the mounting nut was broke but is still operatable but I will be putting new ones in when it is shipped. Up for auction is an 8 quart cast iron antique Enterprise sausage stuffer/ fruit press. It has 2 patent dates of 1876 and 1883. There is nothing broken. Chipped, cracked or repaired. The crank operates smoothly from top to bottom. It comes as shown in the pics with no other attachments or parts. Any attachment you might need can be found on eBay. This is the 1 model of Cider/Duck Press made by Enterprise Manufacturing Co. Out of Philadelphia. The model is marked with a patent date and another date: April 10, 1883 and July 11 1876. Has that nice used appeal of an antique model and lots of character to it. This comes with the sausage stuffer attachments. No damage that I can see. Some light corosion here or there as shown, but most of the detail of the gold band is still there on the base of the press.

The basket holds 4 quarts and measures about 7" high and 7" in diameter. The entire apparatus is about 24" tall when fully open. From what the family says she was 93 and bought this when it was brand new, she had past in 2013 so she would have been born in 1920. I broke this completely down and gave it a good electrolysis cleaning and seasoned it as you would a cast iron skillet. There are no cracks, chips or breaks in this piece and I gave it my own little touch on the decor. This is a complete set. National was a branch off of the Enterprise in 1897, it was believed that one of the employees from Enterprise wanted to simplify the sausage stuffer apart from The Enterprise way of manufacturing. This vintage industrial culinary press could be restored but it will likely be best used as a display piece. The outside of the press is in pretty good condition and it is marked"Landers. Frary& Clark New Britain Conn. U.S.A. and"Small Plate. The press does not function any more, the handle is frozen up. The cast iron cylinder does pivot out, however, the inside strainer is cracked, rusty, and lodged inside. The press measures 26" T, 14.5" W at the handle, and 8" D. 1 1/8" is the inner diameter of the spout hole at the bottom. There are four 1/4" mounting holes in the base for attaching it to a surface. This is a copper plated cast iron duck press. When wound down it stands a little over 12" tall. I am pretty sure this is decorative as you will have a tough time pressing any carcass besides a squab. Please see pics. The copper finish has worn away in spots and the plate at the end of the screw isn't attached squarely. Although it's functional I wouldn't use this for anything but decoration, as that it's still pretty cool. The last pic is to show scale. Please ask any questions you have.
