Was used for pressing lard in the old da ys. This Cast Iron Press is in great shape there are no scratches. Dents, or repairs, looks to be the original handle, I did some cleaning on it and sprayed it with cooking spray to keep from any more rust, there is a bit of surface rust on the inside. With a bit of elbow grea se will look like new. Most of the Paint is missing looks like this was a worker in it s time. The Gears move easy and the whole thing opens with a little pressure. I have up for auction a vintage no.25 Enterprise cider.Wine press/sausage stuffer.It comes with the spout,small and large plate large strainer and basket strainer.The press is in good working condition but has surface rust and will need a good cleaning before using.It also has a lot of paint missing.I believe the basket strainer has been repaired but still fits in the press nicely.It is marked Enterprise MFG. CO. Phila. U.S.A. on one side and the other side has 2 patent dates-April 10 1883 and July 11 1876.The spout has a dent but it will still work.It is approx. a 4 quart press.

Up for auction is an antique 4 quart Enterprise sausage stuffer/ fruit press in very good condition. It comes with all the parts shown in the pics. It has been sand blasted. Primed and painted satin black with gold lettering. It has 2 patent dates of 1876 and 1883. There are no breaks or repairs anywhere on the cast iron. The wood handle has been cracked and repaired with epoxy and seems solid. The crank turns freely with no issues and the gears are in good shape. The inside was sand blasted but not painted.

Excellent Original Sausage Stuffer with Great Art 8 Qt No 35 Enterprise This is a very beautiful Sausage Stuffer with nice original art. I have not seen this flower pattern in a long time. You don't want to miss it. Different than most. It has been thoroughly cleaned, including the shaft with a wire wheel, the feet were rusted have been repainted. The external has all been clear coated to prevent corrosion and enhance beauty. The inside has a bees wax applied to it and has most of the original paint. The shaft has been completely cleaned with a wire wheel, not bead blasted and has been coated in a thin beeswax as well. This machine is beautiful and works smoothly and brings a nice homey charm. I have up for sale wonderful antique patent dated 1897 National Specialty Mfg Co 4 quart Cast Iron Sausage stuffer/ wine press. It comes with both the small and large press plates. The strainer plate and basket, spout horn and holder. There is one additional part that I have not seen before, its some sort of fastening device but I am not sure how it was intended to be used. Firstly the stuffer is in Outstanding Original Condition! There are no damages: no breaks. No cracks, no repaints, the stencil and paint is original and in great shape, the only wear to the paint to speak of is located on the lower front of the tub near and around the tub's hole. The stuffer cranks easily and smoothly as well. You may need to clean the interior of the tub prior to use. This is a very easy stuffer to ... moreclean because the tub removes so easily. Much easier than an Enterprise. I am not sure what the function of the latch has, it does not hold anything from moving so I do not understand what its intended usefulness is. It weighs 19 lbs including the wood it's mounted on. It's marked- Ruggles Nourse Mason& Co. Boston& Worcester, No 2" The Ruggles Nourse Mason& Co partnership started in 1849 and lasted for 6 years. It's in very good condition with no cracks or chips to the cast iron. The wood handle is in very good condition and it turns nicely. The container is missing. It's mounted on the barn wood with old phillips head screws which weren't invented until the 1930's so this was done later.

Refurbished sausage linker works great for making links 5.25' can make other lengths but would need different cams. These linkers sell for around $3000.00 new so this a great deal. Plastic does have some minor cracks but will not affect the way this linker works. Unit is still an as is sale but I have had it tested actually making links and it worked perfectly. I completely broke this down and gave it an electrolysis cleaning and seasoned it as you would a cast iron skillet. There are no breaks. Cracks or repairs what so ever on this piece and is in excellent condition and is ready to use. I did not put any oil in the oil ports do to shipping purposes because this will be broke down to ship.
