It can be the new family heirloom for generations to come. This unit holds 8 liquid quarts which equates to approximately 16 pounds of meat. Unit quickly disassembles for easy cleaning. I have an 8 qt sausage stuffer top piece. I acquired this with a stuffer. It is in good working condition. However the top was apparently broken and repaired at one time. I purchased it together with a new top piece that the gentlemen was going to repair and never did it. So I did with the new one. So old one that has been repainted and ready for use. Must go. For your consideration is a fully functioning antique cast iron Enterprise Mfg Co. 4 quart sausage stuffer. Or press. Parts include a press plate, strainer basket, strainer plate, and press. This was an estate find over 10 years ago and has been carefully stored until now. The basket holds 4 quarts and measures about 7" high and 7" in diameter. The entire apparatus is about 24" tall when fully open. The lettering design of this press is unique in that the letters were not pressed into the iron like most of the of their units. Rather the letter is free standing adding a unique and artistic design. This device is fully functioning. The gears and handle easily turn, and it easily opens and closes. The metal has great patina. This vintage heavy duty cast iron sausage stuffer/fruit press is marked"Enterprise Mfg. Co. Phila. U.S.A. on upper frame and"Pat. July 17. 06" on brass spout. I believe it is a 4 qt. unit? and appears complete with 2 cast iron press plates(1"Large" and other"Small" 2 removable handle/cranks(one is heavier duty than the other) metal strainer bucket(used for fruit) with a removable cast iron perforated bottom plate, cast iron spout coupling and brass spout. Unit is in as found used working condition. The press plate marked small(for use with the strainer tub) has an older welded repair and operates fine(see pics) No other breaks or cracks to unit. Here is a complete vintage cast iron press. This is in very nice original condition. I am not sure of the quart size. But it is 14" in height. Cranks and turns very easily. The threaded rod is very nice shape also with no rust. The old original box it was in was mailed in from Minnesota during 1958 is also included.

Bought this at a old closed down farmers butcher shop in Nazareth PA. The press would not move at all so I took it all apart cleaned it up and now you can turn the handle with 1 finger. Shows some rust here and there just needs a through cleaning. The strainer basket is in great condition no dings and round.Handle has no cracks and works smoothly. I believe this is a complete set.
