This auction is for a GR Type 1560-P40 Microphone-Preamplifier and microphone capsule. This can be used in a stand alone application or it can be used on a GR sound analyzer such as a 1654. For use w/o a GR instrument it requires about 8 to 15 volts to operate the preamp. This uses a 3 pin XLR connector. Pin 1 is ground. For auction is a Bruel& Kjaer 4189 ½ inch free-field microphone with Type 2671 preamplifier. Valid from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. It has a small wrinkle in the diaphragm but it DID pass cal which was done by a cal lab(see picture) I have many 4189 with diaphragm wrinkle failed the cal at various frequency(from 3khz to 18 khz) and this is the only 4189 that passed the cal with a small wrinkle. Here's a Bruel& Kjaer model 2209 Impulse Precision Sound Level Meter with a 4145 1" microphone and a 1616 1/3 octave filter set attached. This meter's in pretty good looking condition. It does have some little scuffs and scrapes. The biggest mark on it is on the left side of body near the microphone and is shown close up in one of the pictures above. The filter set's battery compartment is clean. Although the meter itself has some signs of corrosion in there. I put in some batteries and tried it. And everything seems to at least work, the needle moves, the filters seems to be filtering the bandwidths, the peak hold settings hold, and so on. The bulbs all work. This auction is for a lightly used decibel sound pressure level meter. I am selling it because I have very little use for it as of now. It is a really nice meter and was taken care of. It can measure A. C, or F weight. It can measure from 30 to 130 decibels and has a max hold and adjustable alarm function. It will measure fast or slow weight samples. This meter also has a Leq function to find the average spl over a certain period of time. The screen is led backlit and very bold. It comes with the software to graph the spl levels over time as well as the serial and USB cables to hook it up to a computer. It also comes with the user manual and a precision screwdriver to calibrate the meter on the side. The padded case is included in the auction with the meter but does have a few scratches from ... morenormal transport as shown in the pictures. Further specifications are covered in the last picture. Daven Co Volume Indicator VU meter in wood box. This is a meter for measuring the strength[not frequency] of audio frequencies. Old vintage elec test equip. I hooked an audio signal up to the meter and did get a reading. I tried it at various signal strengths and at various selector switch settings. The meter responded according to the selector switch settings and strength as expected. The accuracy of the readings is unknown. There is a pot adj just below the selector switch. I did not try it. The Meter bounces good when you jiggle it. There appears to be nothing wrong with the meter electrically or mechanically. Meter zeros at left edge. The wood case is in fair to reasonable shape.
