Inclded in this package is 5 Extech Noise Dosimeters with PC Interface Model 407355 This model has the wired microphone. I tried the wireless but was to many interferiances with RF frequenceys and cell phones. The wireless devices did not provide accurate readings. Hewlett Packard HP HP-333A DISTORTION ANALYZER- NR! Same as 334A except no RF Audio Detector. Needs repair. You are bidding on a used. Somewhat functional HP 333 DISTORTION ANALYZER. The unit functions but has issues. We noted that the unit in manual mode can be used but the automatic null function does not work correctly. We observed that it sometimes attempts to null the signal but does not completely resolve. Please see pictures#6 and#7. These show a 0.146% reading and scope display using the defective auto-null function. We know our Leader LAG-125 can do better than 0.10% Physically. The side trim rails are a bit scratched from handling but are completely intact. This unit is a newer version with the updated front panel connectors. It has the feet and wire stand. The front panel looks ... morequite clean with minimal scratches along the top. The general cosmetics, in fact, are very acceptable except for the scratches mentioned earlier. Please see the pictures. We are not the original owner. There are no cracked knobs and the controls have a nice, firm feel. This model is identical to the usually sought after 334A except it does not have the RF Audio Detector function. Do you really need that? In fact. The same owner/service manual is used for both models. We have used 333A and 334A models for many years and can safely say we have never used the RF detector feature on the 334A. Both models otherwise have the same specs and performance. We are offering this unit at a low minimum bid due to our need to reduce inventory. We simply can no longer afford to do detailed troubleshooting and not recover our labor costs. Having said that, we have stated a minimum bid without any reserve actually below our initial investment. Our limited spot check was at 1000Hz. No other tests were done after we saw the poor auto-null performance. Our loss is your gain! This HP 333A is known to have limited functionality and not just merely power up. This is a clean unit in working order. A service manual is included. But no test leads are included. I purchased this meter used many years ago. The seller had sent the meter to TOA for repair at one point. TOA replaced the meter movement, but ran out of the labels for the switches. A fax from the seller to me states this fact, and he goes on to explain the function of the 4 pushbutton switches. It’s simple really; from left to right they are, off, x1, x10, x100. This Decibel meter is in excellent used condition. The manual is dated January 1966. Even includes the factory calibration card. There appears to be a hairline crack in the left upper dial(hard to see in photos) Untested. But presumed to be working. Came out of a factory, and was probably used to measure industrial noise levels. This does have some wear but cosmetically I would consider it to be in good used condition. This did not power up when I plugged it in. I am not an expert on these so I am not sure what is wrong. The photos show all of the items: Larson Davis parts and cables. I have no way of checking these things. But they do go with the Larson Davis 2900 Sound Level Meter and Real Time Frequency Analyzer that I have listed, or have already sold. The descriptions below should be in the order of the photos in this listing. CA250- Precision Acoustic Calibrator 250 Hz. 114 dB SPL. Calibration seal is intact. This hums when a 9 volt battery is installed. But will not stop humming when the switch is pressed. I believe the switch is broken. There is an audio outlet port on the top, where the metal screen is, that has an o-ring seal, that I believe the microphone slides into to form a seal. You can see this in the two photos of this device. PRM900B 3572- Pre-amplifier. This has a microphone screw connection ... moreon one end. And a 5-pin port on the other end that either an extension cable plugs into or this can plug directly into the pre-amp input ports of the Larson Davis 2900. The extension cables are listed below for this. There are two photos of this, to show each end of the pre-amplifier. In it's plastic case with cap. EXC010- Ten foot extension cable. 5-pin, that plugs into the preamp inputs of the Larson Davis 2900. This is a professional audio tool. It was used by a professional audio installation company and studio to equalize the room after an install and also for live use. EQ'ing the house after setup at a venue. I bought it from him after he came to my studio to EQ my setup. I used it when I would add treatment. Or move stuff around to make sure my monitors were giving me accurate sound. Worked awesome. The reference mic, that is integrated, is amazing and key to the process.
