You are bidding on a used IFR 1900 CSA. This item is used and powers up and passes all of its self tests. I was able to use it as a signal generator and put a 1.7Ghz signal at 0.0dBm into a specan and receive it at 1.7005Ghz at-6.63dBm(connected by a 7ft cable which can account for some of the loss) I was also able to use it as a power meter and get spot on results. However. Using it as a specan I was unable to receive anything short of garbage. I don't believe the specan feature to work properly so I am selling this unit AS-IS with no warranty so please bid on it as a non working unit for parts only. The unit also has a bent handle on the rear of it, it does not appear to have been dropped as that is the only damage but I couldn't venture a guess as to what or how it happened. Unit is in fairly good physical condition. As far as we know there are no parts missing. Unit initializes normally. First displaying the IFR logo and then moves next to the spectrum monitoring screen. We connected the input of the unit to the 100 MHz test output on the front panel and the displayed wave form was as expected. We used a signal generator to input signals at 1 MHz. 10 MHz, and 1GHz; in each case the resulting waveform was as expected. In other words, the amplitude and frequency were correct. Even though the unit appears to be functioning properly, we cannot guarantee that it is calibrated properly or that it is without problems. Sold AS-IS. No returns, no warranty.

Excellent condition. Have had it for about 4 years. Been sitting in storage. Fired it up and it's still as accurate as when I repaired and calibrated it 4 years ago. Can only now test it at to10Mhz- 2.6Ghz.10.5Ghz and 18Ghz. I know shipping is a bit much but it weights over 80lbs. Our refurbished equipment prices may be more than other models for sale because we take the risk out of buying used equipment. Many of the models of test equipment we refurbish and sell are fully tested and repaired if needed. In the process they are disassembled and thoroughly cleaned and inspected for suspect components and or corrosion. Other sellers equipment is often labels as 100% testing and working but do they really spend the time to test it completely and thoroughly inspect it. About 2 years ago the messages LO Unlock and LO Unlevel appeared on the screen. I've researched those enough to know that a component needs to be replaced. And the estimates can vary from $35 to $500 depending on the specification of the part. There are whole forums and parts suppliers for these old HP devices, so getting those parts should not be a problem. I'm just not*that* confident with a soldering iron and I'd rather this go to someone that is more familiar with their repair. Refurbished units with this same specification run around $19k. This auction is for a Anritsu MS2711D SpectrumMaster spectrum analyzer. Unit powers up and seems to function normally with a good display. In very good physical condition. Includes nylon carrying case and AC adapter. Known Defects: Battery does not hold a charge and the strain relief is broken on the AC adapter with exposed wires inside. Last date of service and calibration was in 2005 so this probably should go to the depot for same. Sold as-is with no warranty. Does not include anything else not described or pictured.
