For sale is a HP 89410A vector signal analyzer. It has option AY7 which adds a second channel. The unit has an issue. It sat on my shelf for about 5 years. When first turned on it had a NVRAM failure. Turned it off and back on and that went away (assuming a battery is dead inside some place). After that cleared it says it’s preforming ADC calibration, it gets halfway through and then the unit shuts down. Unit is being sold as-is.

For sale is an excellent Agilent N9340B Handheld Spectrum Analyzer. It runs on an internal battery(in good condition) and includes an AC adapter. Soft case w/ shoulder strap and a N to BNC adapter. It covers 100 kHz to 3 GHz. Shown in pictures two displaying a 3 GHz signal from a N5181(not included) with 400 Hz 50% modulation. You may see good agreement between the two instruments. Here is a nice clean unit. And it appears to be ready to go. I have tested with signals of 20Mhz. 100Mhz, and 648Mhz and they are all right on frequency with flatness within 1.5db across the bands. I cannot test higher but I did look at the harmonics out of my signal generator and it will go all the way up to the high end of the frequency spectrum without any problems that I can detect. I don't do the tested with power on thingy. I give you a fair confidence check on every unit and an honest opinion. I cannot say this will work in every aspect of it's highly complicated capability. Yet another unit#2 unit has feet and a handle the handle will need some repair as it has broken away from the inner retainer on one side but still locks into various positions. all normalizations were recently run and passed the crt is clear and bright(sorry if the camera doesn't do justice) these normalizations are internal tests which were recently run and is in very good shape.I have tested the controls and buttons on this unit too. Have I can copy the service manual if my copy costs are paid. I am sure many of the buyers of units that don't show the unit passing all the normalizations tests know just how dissapointing equipment like that is when they paid over a 1000$ for the unit! Tektronix changed something with the 2710 models ... moreover previous models it now by doing such tests provides a very accurate assessment of the unit automatically by doing a minor recalibrating of itself so you don't have to trained in how to test these units to know the condition. If you ever want to see what condition your 27xx is in let it warm up properly then go to the utility menu(by pressing Util button) and select normalizations then select all normalizations if your unit passes all normalizations then it is in pretty good shape but to find any sections that fail this type of test you select the service normalization section of the menu and it will display for each section what failed or passed.
