For sale is: RF. Microwave high power isolator in mint condition, tested with data. More than 50dB isolation in the 4-8GHz band. Typically isolators are used to protect the power amplifier from a mismatch condition on the output. However. Looking at the data it seems that this isolator was designed for a multiplexing application. Most likely this isolator was used to protect a transmitter(perhaps in the 2GHz band) from another strong transmitter in the 4-8GHz band. Hence the notch. Additionally. This isolator probably provided termination for the strong transmitter as well, judging from a good output match in the 4-8GHz band. This is different from a filter which would have a poor S22 match when rejecting. The insertion loss is better outside of the 4-8GHz band.
