This is in incredible condition and came from an estate with other working items including a Seco Tester which works great. So it is assumed to be working. Please keep in mind its age and realize it may need some care and maintenance on your part. It powers up properly. The switch stays where it is supposed to be. I guarantee everything I sell. If you don't like it send it back for a full refund. I'm not promising it's perfect but indications are that it's a solid, well cared for unit. Up for bid is an antique Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. tube tester/analyzer. Model 547 No. 24949. I found this tester at an estate sale and it had previously been owned by a collector. I believe the tester is from the late 1920's. I cannot check exactly how the tester is supposed to work. Because it did not come with any sort of manual. However, I have checked each of the gauges individually, and each of them works properly. All of the internal electrical parts look to be original to me. Though one of the push buttons seems to have been replaced at some point. The tube tester requires a 3 volt battery, and I don't know if the battery holder is original, but it looks to be. The switches and knobs all move freely and the cord looks to be in good shape considering how old it is. ... moreOverall. It is in great condition for it's age. The tester comes in a black bakelite case. The case is slightly chipped and scratched(see the pictures) The case has a leather handle. Which is very sturdy, though it seems to have been repaired at some point. The clasps on the case are all solid and close tightly. The case is missing one of it's legs though. The tester is 12.5" by 9.25" by 4" I've described the item to the best of my ability and have taken a lot of pictures of it. The pictures are an important part of the description. And everything is as it appears in the pictures. The item is being sold as is( for parts or repair) because of it's age and no returns will be accepted.

Mercury Model 990 Tube Tester. This is a nice little portable tube tester that will test many popular audio tubes. It performs a short/leakage test and a dynamic emissions test. It recently came from the estate of a long-time owner. I tester several tubes with it and it works fine. It is shown testing one triode of a 12AX7. Offered here is a working Knight model KG-600B vacuum tube tester in excellent used condition. The date on the manual is 1961. While the date on the roll chart says it(the roll chart) is current for tubes produced up to May 31st, 1965. Included here are the original operator's manual, as well as the Knight Kit assembly manual. This is a fast check, emissions type tester. I tested dozens of various tubes with it(6L6, 12AX7, 6SN7, 7591, 5U4G, etc. It works well and does what is what designed to do. I found it easy to use and the intructions were easy to follow. Vintage 1951 Superior Instruments Tube Tester Model-TV-11"UNTESTED" I don't know much about these machines but this seems to be a nice one. I did not plug it in as I didn't want to have any issues with the machine. I will leave the winning bidder to determine its working status. I was told it was in working order when I bought it. Tester appears to be complete, no missing knobs, no breaks in components. The case seems to be made out of solid oak wood. The case has normal wear, scuffs, scratches no breaks in the wood. The carrying handle seems to be made out of bake lite and is in very nice unbroken condition. There is a copy of operating instructions for this tester. ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENTS CORPORATION MODEL 213 TUBE TESTER* In very good shape both mechanically and electronically. It had an AC non-polarized cheater cord socket which I replaced with a grounding three wire standard AC cord. I removed the cheater socket and put the new cord with a HEYCO grip in the hole that was left. I took the pictures before putting a small metal cover over the part of the hole that was left. I tested some tubes that I had tested on my Western Electric and use those as a standard to see if the tester I'm trying out is accurate. The tester showed that it works fine. I also tried some tubes that I know are bad and they showed bad as expected. It comes with the original operating manual/tube chart and also an updated manual/tube chart. Vintage Chevrolet Radio Service Model 416 Signal Generator by Boes. Dayton OH. Here is an extremely rare piece from possibly a pre WW2 Chevy garage/ dealership used for testing radios. I can find absolutely nothing online about this piece and I have searched for over a week. I cannot even find a picture. This would make a rare and unique piece for your shop. Museum, or collection. The cosmetic condition is pretty decent. The box has no dents or dings but it does have a few scratches. Some paint splatters, and mild surface rust. Inside of the box is rust free. The side handles are missing. This box can be easily restored. The aluminum face plate is in pretty good shape. Most of the things that look like scratches are pencil or some type of metal marking. It can probably be removed by an aluminum ... morecleaner. All of the knobs are present but will need cleaning for restoration. The dial is missing and someone has put a copper wire in its place. The interior components are all very clean. The tubes light up as well as the power indicator light. I attached a cord to it as the other cord was brittle. I will ship the original plug with it. I am unsure if this piece works. It appears that someone has replaced some capacitors with newer models and installed another tube for some reason. There are no test cables. Estate auction item. Manual says Model 400 and C40 adapter. All wires and adapter look to be in great condition. Does work. The only thing I saw is the hinges have a little surface rust on the box but should clean up if you need to. Will need a detail cleaning I dont have time to detail all my items. This is a old model 44 meter manufactured by the national radio institute of waging ton D.C by the Triplett elect intr. Co. Of Bluffton. Ohio.Initially,NRI offered a very basic mutimeter with the courses and the"Professional"line of meters generators,etc which did not come with the courses and were always sold separately. These were made by Precision Apparatus Company in some cases while Triplett made others all with the title"NRI Professional" on the exterior. They were far better than the original course-supplied meter but priced within the reach of begining radio shop owners and supplied in built up form. Used Tube tester that has a decent reputation today for general tube testing. This is not a laboratory grade tube tester but very good for finding out good/bad tubes and for detecting leaks and shorts on a tube. It has data to test 4. 5, 6,7and 8 pin large base tubes. It also tests common 7 and 9 pin miniature tubes. I have only tested operation of the tester but have not tried to calibrate it. The lead wire for the grid cap is rotten and needs to be replaced. Cabinet and faceplate are dirty and will clean up nicely with some light soap and water. Tube data roll appear complete and operates smoothly. The line cord also needs to be replaced. Up for auction is a Powers Fotoguard water temperature regulator. This was taken from a working photography darkroom and is in good used condition. Includes an accurate temperature gauge. The light in the meter lights up when plugged in and turned on, and I am able to center the needle in the meter with the centering dial. The tube test chart does move back and forth smoothly, and is clearly readable. This also includes some tools. Including what appears to be a tube install/ remove tool. I also downloaded and printed out a copy of the owner's manual which will be included. Since I do not have any tubes to test on this tester. I do not know if the tester ... morepart works or not. So for that reason, it is being sold strictly"AS-IS" There will be no returns accepted on this. Please be advised. UPDATE- UPDATE-UPDATE: NOTICE THE LAST 3 PICTURES. I FOUND 1-6BG6 TUBE.
