I was forced to part out this unit in order to get the English potentiometer, which I needed for another Hickok. This original face plate is in"good" overall condition. With all the paint and lettering in tact. It does have some discoloration here and there(lighter white in some areas and more yellowish aging in other areas) but it may be possible to get it all cleaned up and looking good. I just don't know how, so I'll leave that up to you. Or use it as it is; it's not that bad overall in my opinion, unless you want near mint, which it is not. This to tube tester has worked well for me when I used it but I haven't used it much recently. In the photographs you can see it working well testing a 6v6 tube. Assume it may need calibration. Though, this tube looks to test accurately. This tester is in excellent condition and is a very highly regarded tube tester. I guarantee this item to be in the conditions described but there are no returns on vintage equipment. Thanks for looking.

Precision 10-12 Tube Tester I have had this for decades. If I ever plugged it in it would have been at least 30 years ago so I'm going to leave powering it up for the first time this century to you. The cord looks fine. But I never plug in old tube-era gear. All the switches and dials move as they should. The meter and the roll chart look good. A couple tube sockets(7& 9 pin) seem to have been replaced, possibly for updating. One grid cap is missing, the other broken. The plywood top and bottom of the case needs to be replaced. Item: Hickok 752 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Tester w Manual and Charts. The unit was powered up and tested some 12AX7 and 12AU7 tubes. It seems to work as it should, tested a new 5V3 tube and it tested it as new. I'm not a tech, so it was not checed for calibration. Most likely it will need control pots cleaned and calibration to bring it to new specs. Some wear is seen on the face and case. Extra bulbs included. Allows testing of 12AX7 tubes both sections without resetting the machine. This is vintage audio gear. It has not been refurbish or restored in anyway. The testing involves plugging it in, hooking up speakers and an input source if needed then describing as accurately as possible what I see. HI All! I'm not sure what Hickok this is from. I know that it is NOT from a 533. 534 or later. I'm guessing that it is from a 510. I found a model number down inside the meter face that says AC-51X. The meter does work and it test 285 ohms as you can see in the pictures. I will ship this any way you want but I'm quoting USPS flat rate Priority. This is small and light. A used paper roll chart. I believe it is an original chart for Hickok tube testers- models 532. 533, 534, 534A, 534B, and 600. It shows wear. The paper has creases and short tears and nicks on the edges. One end of the roll has tears. I did not unroll it all the way so I do not know if there are any tears at the other end. There appears to be some tears on the edges of the other end. It is yellowed from age. Please view all 5 pictures.

Selling"as is" The case has no cover. There is no roll chart. I have a used roll chart for other models that I am selling separately. The metal front has scratches and nicks. The knobs look good with a few light scuff marks. One of the knobs is a different shape. The meter covers show some wear with some scuff like marks. One screw around the edge is missing. It needs some cleaning. The case shows wear and the metal parts on it have some rust. Originally. I was not able to remove the tester from the case after removing all the outside edge screws. Here is a vintage Lafayette Tube Tester Model TE-15. This tester appears to be in working condition. I found an old tube and plugged the tester in. I put the tube in the correct position and followed the instructions in the book. The tube lit up. The red light came on when I moved the some of the switches which indicated there was a leak. I then tested the quality which the needle on the gauge pointed to"Replace" This tester comes with the operating instructions. This tester has been sitting around in a garage for a long time and needs a major cleaning. There are scratches and some surface rust. The"Load" knob is broken. Up for bids is an old Precision Apparatus Company Series 920 Tube and Set Tester in original wood case. Also included with this tester are the Tester Manual. Two 8-pin to 7-pin adaptors and an old tube socket. The manual includes all the settings for most tubes as well as complete tester instructions. This tube tester also has the scroll with the tube settings on it and a battery tester. The scroll still works very well. The case is missing the handle and there is a couple of places where the veneer has peeled off. The case also shows wear as if it was well used at one time. The unit seems to function just fine. I177 US Military Tube Tester. 1940's Needs Parts Upgrade Nice example of 1945 date stamped US Military tube tester. One side of steel cabinet must have made contact with something like a wet carboard carton. The other cabinet surfaces are fine with not much wear and almost no oxidation. Faceplate is fine with no sign of finger tip wear- controls have the feel of a new tester. Initial tube measurement showed a low reading. Hickok 600 Tube Tester- Calibrated! HAM This is a very nice. Clean Hickok model 600 tube tester of the Dynamic Mutual Conductance type. The 600/800 series of testers were Hickok's most popular because of their easy portability and uncanny ability to identify tubes that were not performing properly. The 600 is still one of the easiest to use testers that has complete testing functionality. It has those 4-pin, 5-pin, 6-pin and 7-pin sockets you'll need for testing the tubes in your really vintage radios, as well as the"modern" 8-pin Octal and Loctal sockets and the 7 and 9-pin miniatures. The 600 uses a variable bias supply to properly bias the tube for testing. And high enough plate and screen voltages to properly exercise the tube under test. It also measures the presence ... moreof gas in a tube- something most testers can't do. The"ENGLISH" control can be set to read the quality of a tube on the Good-Bad scale, or to measure"Gm" on the three calibrated scales. The calibrated red dots on the English dial eliminate the need for a separate switch for Gm ranges. A neat trick that helped keep the tester small and portable. Hickok testers. With their patented testing circuit, are uncanny at finding bad tubes that other testers often miss- which is probably why the Hickok testers were used almost exclusively by the U.S. military. This listing is for a fully working. Repaired, calibrated and tested, vintage tube tester. It's the model 625 made by EICO. It comes complete with a bound and printed copy of the manual. The manual is not original. Included in the manual are the instructions. Schematic, construction book, tube supplements, and tube chart for obsolete tubes. The manual is complete an not missing any pages. The tester itself has the 625-06 roll chart which is one of the more recent editions. The roll chart works well. There is one small, hard to see tear near the end that was fixed with magic transparent tape. All the switches and controls work well and the sockets are good. As you can see from the pictures. This offering is for a PRECISION MODEL 10-60 TUBE AND TRANSISTOR TESTER IN WORKING CONDITION. THE CASE SHOWS WEAR. BUT IT IS SOLID AND PRESENTABLE. The hardware is all good, the handle, the hinges, the latches all super. Best of all, the case has done it's assigned duty of keeping the tester clean and protected. I compared this pRECISION'S test results to my 2 calibrated Hickok TV7- testers, a"good but barely" tube on my TV7-D also show good on the Precision- but not very strong. The meter operates smoothly and properly. It is true however that testers of this age generally should be calibrated, as most have not been calibrated in decades. I did not test the transistor portion, as I have no knowledge in that area. I'm a tube guy. This auction is for a tube tester that someone appears to have made to check vacuum tubes that have numbers in them- I believe they are numitron tubes. This has a transformer on the top with a single switch to turn it on and off and has seven switches in the front that light up different lines on the component inside the tube. Here is a nice vintage Knight Kit KG-600C Tube Tester. Made by Allied Radio Corp of Chicago Illinois USA made back in 1969. The Tester was found with the original assembly manual and tube chart, is in used very good condition with some wear as pictured, and 1 of the knobs does not tightened up on the shaft and the rubber on the clip for the connecting the top metal of the tube has dried out. The tube tester was plugged in and lights up, meter adjusts, all controls appear to work, the tube chart spins properly and I tested a few tubes and the tester appears to work, but may need to be adjusted. The Case shows some wear with the handle is broken as pictured, is missing 2 feet, but both latches work properly. Here is a very nice vintage Accurate Instrument Co of New York NY Tube and Utility Tester Model 161 made back in the 1950s. The Tester is in excellent condition complete with all Cables including the Test Leads. AC Cord, and Tube Socket, Case with Hinged Case with Handle and working Latch, is in super clean condition with just some light wear only on the Case. I tested with Voltage only, and it works great. Here is a nice and fully working Lafayette Tube and Transistor Tester. I repaired and calibrated this unit. Then I used it to test some tubes and transistors. It is fully working. Even the bipolar transistor test function works great. All the switches and controls work well and the sockets are good. This tester comes complete with a copy of the manual and test charts so you will be able to use this unit to test your tubes and transistors. This emission tube checker will test a large number of tube types. Here is a short list of rock tubes people need to test nowadays: 6CA7(EL34) 6L6, 6BQ5(EL84) all the 12A_7 family(12AX7, 12AT7, 12AU7, etc. ECC8_ just like the 12A_7) and many, many others. This checker has the following sockets: Large base tubes: 8-pin octal& loctal. Miniatures: 7. 9, ... more9+1, 10(Not many testers can handle the 9+1 or 10-pin tubes. Novars(bigger 9-pin tubes) Compactrons(bigger 12-pin tubes) I tested all of the above tubes with this tester except the Decal and the 9+1 10-pin miniatures because I don't have those tubes. I checked the socket wiring for these tubes and it looks good so I think they will work as well. The manual has a lot of tubes in the charts and good instructions for testing them. But nothing about how to use the transistor testor. I added a page to the manual that gives instructions on how to test transistors. Also in the manual is the schematic which will help you maintain the proper operation and accuracy of this tester. This tube tester is a newer compact. Counter top style instrument. It's light and small so you can easily get it down from the shelf when you need to test some tubes. As you can see from the pictures, this unit is in good condition. I found two chips in the case that are shown in the pictures. Other than that, the case is made out of Bakelite so unless you manage to crack it or chip it, it's almost indestructible. You are bidding on a Valve(Vacuum Tube) Tester. Serial number 23, made in England During WW II for the Air Ministry. It comes with the operating manual"Air Ministry Publication 1186 Volume 1, Section 5, Chapter 21" This manual includes a circuit diagram, the theory of operation and tube testing data for about 400 tubes which includes many U.S. tubes of the day. This tester operates on 220 volts so I was unable to check it out and is therefore being sold as is. I did check the 6U5"eye" tube and it is very bright as can be seen in the photo. The tester is complete with all of its components. Knobs and dials. The maximum cabinet dimensions are 21.75 in long. 12.5 in wide x 7.75in high. It weights 29 lbs.
