Precision Model 912 Tube Tester This is an old Tube Tester that I believe was first manufactured in the late 1940’s by the Precision Apparatus Co. Elmhurst. New York. The case is in good physical condition with just the normal scuffs and scrapes for a 60 year old unit. When the unit is powered on. The meter moves from the red zone to the yellow zone(See pictures) but that is all I can tell about the working condition of the unit. It comes with multiple rolls of tube data that provide the info for different tube specifications. It also has what appears to be an addition 9 pin test socket adapter for smaller tubes. Here is a nice early B&K Dyna Quik model 500 in good condition. This unit has been tested with a couple of tubes that were tested on a calibrated tester my friend owns and the tubes tested within 5% of his. The previous owner said he used this to test all his tubes and it worked very well. This tester has a 83 rectifier tube in it. And has a slight hum when powered up but everything seems to work as it should, it also comes with a 1B3GT adapter and the tube chart booklet plus there is a page on the back of the cover. I am also going to sell another B&K model 606 in another auction, check that one out. The case is in good condition with some worn spots and the latch has some rust. This is a military-grade VOM model TS-352 A/U is the meter used by the military in calibrating Hickok tube testers and is noted in the calibration instructions for the TV7 D/U, among others. It has the 1000 ohms/volt scale that is universal to the Hickok calibration instructions, no more trying to figure out what resistors to place over your DVM to get the proper voltages for calibrating, it's all here! Also has 20,000 ohms/volt scale, and a 5kv high voltage section. Beautiful condition used Hickok 533A vacuum tube tester. 2 capacitors look to have been replaced. This tester is in good basic working order. And very clean! It powers up, goes up to line test, and tests a known good 6L6 tube strong. roll chart is tight and rolls freely. Most tube testers sold will need to be calibrated. its a given. Sometimes the tests that need to be done don't require sophisticated analysis the real requirement is weight and reliability. It's 13 pounds. Here is an unusual old tube tester in it's original box. It tests for open and burned out filaments. It has a pair of test leads. Instruction manual, and a short pamphlet on finding faulty tubes in your TV along with the main unit. The tester housing is plastic. I'm not sure if it works, but I don't think there's to much that could go wrong with it. The red housing measures approximately; 3 1/2" by 2 3/4" by 1 5/16" thick. The box is in fair condition. very nice hickok 539B tube testor. calibrated by roger kennedy in 2011. Never used since. works 100% as new! has all parts pictured with manual, extra new neon bulb. original case nice! shipping quote to lower 48 states only. was going to build tube audio repair shop, health forces change of plans. This auction includes an Eico model 666 dynamic conductance tube tester in good working condition and with the original manual and paperwork. The entire face and meter on this tester is very clean with great looking lettering. All of the knobs and switches are original and the power cord is still in great shape. The scroll wheel is still very easy to read. The metal case has a strong latch and hinges and a strong handle. The case does have some surface rust on the outside of it.
