For sale here is a HICKOK Model 532 vacuum tube tester. The unit is working as you can see by the first picture im testing a known good 6L6. The unit does seem to be complete though unit will need a good cleaning as most tube testers do. I sprayed the insides down with deoxit to help with connectivity and electrical lubricant to help the switches turn smoothly. As with all tube testers it MUST be assumed that the unit needs a calibration. As you can see it is working powering on(pilot lamp needs replaced) etc. The roll chart is free and moving as well as the switches and knobs including a free moving meter. The tester is in good working condition and I have tested tubes on socket 8. 9, 25, 23, and 39. All of the previously stated socks worked fine. I'm selling my B&K 466 CRT tester. I*FINALLY* picked up a Sencore CR-70 so I don't need this one anymore. Unit functions well, tests B&W and color CRT's with the supplied adapters. I don't have a universal adapter for it, but it does have the one to test 70-degree round color tubes(21" roundies) and a few others. I only used it for 21" tubes, and have not used the rejuve feature so I can't verify that part of it works. I was warned away from using it, as it's capacitive discharge can actually kill a tube if you aren't careful. That's why I only used it to read emission, to see if a tube was good. Picked this up from a local estate. I don't know much about this sort of item and have no tubes to test it and even if I had tubes I wouldn't know how to operate it or what to look for. Looks pretty clean on the inside. Outside latches show some rust. Outside case shows some wear here and there. Missing 4 of the rubber feet. I did plug it in and the eye lighted up and the eye adjustment knob opened and closed the eye. I also pushed the red button that says press to adj. line and the needle moved to the center of the dial. So I know those 2 items work to some extent. Has some other box that holds testtubes attached to where the cord is stored and there is also a plugged in clip that also stores in the same compartment. Up for auction is this old analyzer. I am not an electrician and have not tested it to see if it works or not. The box needs a little restoration and the leather strap is broken. B&K Model 700 Tube Tester. This is used to test various tubes. There is also an Instruction guide that tells you what to set each knob at for different types of tubes. I am not 100% sure if the whole manual is there as it is old, but there are 11 pages in the manual front and back on each page covers a lot of tubes. As for the tester itself I plugged it in and turned it on, the red light came on that indicated it was getting power, also on the right the yellow light came on indicating it is ready to test. I have a ton of tubes that were with this so I plugged one in and followed the directions, it lit up as you can see in the photos the tube lit up, so the heater and sensitivity work, I hit the test button and the meter barely moved, but the meter does work obviously if it moved when I ... morehit test. As for the rest of it I do not know how or what it does. I buy storage auctions and all of this was in the unit. The case on the outside of the tester seems to be in pretty good shape for its age it has normal wear and tear but it is not bad by any means, the hinges on the case hold the case together but the lid will fall off if it slides out of the hinges. Also one of the knobs on the bottom row is missing. That covers the tester next I will discuss the tubes. Tubes- There are 130ish tubes maybe a few more or a few less but it is somewhere in that area doing a quick count. That is including the red thing with the wire you see in the pics I have no clue what that is, as well as various other random nontube items. I would say there are 120 tubes and then 10 other misc. items that are not tubes but are related to the tubes, I guess they are capacitors or something I am not sure im not an expert. All of the tubes are untested, I do not know if you can use them or not, most of them are out of the box except the ones you see in the cigar box they are in the box but I dont know if they are any good or not you will have to test them all yourself. Hickok 600A Tube Tester Low Hours. Working in Good Shape This tester is in working condition. As you can see from the panel face there is little. If any, wear around the knobs as happens when a tester is used frequently, indicating this unit has seen little actual use during it's long lifetime. It will also test transistors and CRTs. It's a big box and is probably the central piece in any vintage electronic technicians' instrumentation. This unit has been hard at work for years. Cosmetically it is probably a 5 or 6 out of 10. However the case is fully intact and has protected the machine completely. Indications suggest line voltage meter has been replaced. The panel has some worn places where little fingers have twirled dials. The paper roll chart turns freely with no problems(last update not known) So the important stuff appears to be working. There are a lot of signs of wear on the outside of the case and handle as it is missing some paint and there is some rust on the outside. Hickok 600A tube tester in Good cosmetic condition. Meter and knobs are in clean nice shape. However tubes inside the tester broke 20 years ago. Needs to get replaced and serviced. This is a model IT-21 tube tester made by Heathkit. It is in excellent condition and is working very well. This will test 4. 5, 6, 7 prong older tubes, 7, 9, 10 pin miniature, octal, loctal, nuvistor, 9, 12 pin compactron, and pilot lights. Some of the tubes this will test are O1A, 6l6, 6550, 12AX7, 7591, 45, 50, 71A, 6SN7, and hundreds more. Notice the 3 tubes I tested with this tester. I even tested a known weak EL34 and it tested bad. All filament voltage selections on the switch were tested. The plastic window has come un-glued over the tube chart roll. I will include this if you decide to put it back on. Tester front panel shows a little normal wear. Case looks great. Unit is un-restored, and un-modified. All contacts and switches were lubricated with De-Oxit. I will include the original ... moremanual and a copy of tube settings book. If for any reason there is a problem whether it is with the item. OIffered for auction is this vintage Hickok Model 6000 A Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester. It is in beautifull condition for it's age.It is fully functional. Roll chart is smooth, it is very clean, no scratches or dings on the face plate. This checks tubes and early transistors as well. The only issue is it is missing the lid. 1950's Hickok 600 tube tester. I aquired this tube tester from a retired engineer-audiophile who used it for the last 30 years. It is in good condition and working. The case has some bumps and scratches. But is otherwise solid. The faceplate has some wear from use, but is quite clean. One photograph shows this unit testing a 6L6 tube. This is a vintage SECO VT Grid Circuit tube tester. It has a magic eye. It works, I tested three tubes. It test 7& 9 pin tubes. It has a leather handle, the power cord is very good. This is a Buy it Now for a Very Vintage Tube Tester from 1936 It is a Supreme Model 89 D It was Top of the Line back then. It did a lot of tests that most regular tube testers of the time could not do Grid Leakage. Filament Resistance with unique filament return path attenuation! This tester is in need of restoration and certainly deserves it. It is missing a screw in neon bulb for leakage glow. This bulb is still around on E bay and is a standard full size screw in socket.
